For what it’s worth, the current all levels publication says it’s console verified, but I’m unsure how it handles the resets and if it has different rng each time.
Just like this:
python3 tastm32.py --hardreset --blank 2 --console nes --players 1,5 --transition 675 S --transition 1614 S --transition 2910 S --transition 4067 S --transition 5153 S --transition 6318 S --transition 7279 S --transition 8247 S --transition 9118 S --transition 9995 S --transition 10832 S --transition 11676 S --transition 12528 S --transition 13385 S --transition 14247 S --transition 15170 S --transition 16133 S --transition 17313 S --transition 18515 S --transition 19573 S --dpcm drmario-resets-2b.r08

Just to provide some context in case this is unfamiliar to anyone: What dwangoAC posted above is the command used to tell the TAStm32 replay device what inputs to replay (drmario-resets-2b.r08), and on which input "frames" a reset should occur (--transition X). As long as the replay starts from power on (for Dr Mario), the moments the resets must occur at are consistent between attempts. Actually, that's how resets are always handled on the NES; they are initiated at predetermined frame or latch counts relative to the beginning of the replay.

I don't understand RPGs but maybe [1208] SNES Chrono Trigger "newgame+" by inichi in 06:42.77 can be unobsoleted now that we allow savegame in standard?
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

I feel like [3530] DS Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time by Migu in 3:21:09.92 could work as a separate "glitchless" branch, instead of having [3791] DS Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time by Migu in 1:52:56.29 obsolete it.

I am not sure the original is even glitchless exactly? I would feel more comfortable asking the author.
[16:36:31] <Mothrayas> I have to say this argument about robot drug usage is a lot more fun than whatever else we have been doing in the past two+ hours
[16:08:10] <BenLubar> a TAS is just the limit of a segmented speedrun as the segment length approaches zero

I did so, and he basically told me that no, it's not glitchless. He only used one glitch in order to get more money. So much for it working as a separate glitchless branch.

Should [2741] Genesis Sonic 3 & Knuckles by Aglar & marzojr in 26:53.06 be unobsoleted? It was obsoleted by a Sonic-only run with many different strategies. I also think the active Newgame+ run with Sonic and Tails is too different to obsolete this one. EDIT: Also, if the Sonic-only branch were to be separated from the Sonic and Tails branch, would [331] Genesis Sonic 3 & Knuckles "Sonic" by SprintGod in 45:55.82 and its predecessor be obsoleted by the later Sonic-only movies (2020 onwards)?

[2078] SNES Super Metroid "Reverse Boss Order" by Saturn in 46:42.38 At the time, it was obsoleted for having a similar route to the current Any%. I think it is different enough to warrant its own, unobsoleted branch nowadays (especially because of the rule changes in the 7 years since this decision).
