Comments

While working on #9562: ktwo & SpaceColonizer's NES Mighty Bomb Jack "best ending" in 10:33.61, I found a few tiny improvements that also applied to the any% run. This submission implements these findings (5 frames) and I also found one more frame while trying to get the movie to sync:
  • 2f in 14-E - falling to the floor faster on the left side
  • 1f in 15-E - landing earlier on the left column
  • 1f in 16-E - increase fall speed to exit the inner structure faster (this is the improvement that doesn't come from the work on the best ending)
  • 2f in the King's room - trajectory change of the jump down to the King's enclosure (and then landing on the floor 1f faster)

Credits

I have worked alone on this improvement, but the vast majority of inputs remain unchanged from the previous submission. Hence the co-authorship.
