This is a game I would like to TAS but the game is relatively long at 1-2 hours (RTA WR is over 2 hours but a ton of time can be saved) and it has a lot of RNG and I do not have the technical knowhow to find and manipulate RNG on the scale that this game would require. Because of this, I thought I might as well go over some of the basics of the game.
Throughout the game, you will need to collect resources in order to make things. You need to make a few things a wedding dress in Andalasia, a yellow dress in Robert's office halfway through the game and a bunch of stuff near the end of the game. Different items can be found in different locations although any item can be collected during the Pip levels. A key part to a TAS would be finding the most efficient way to collect everything without excessive grinding. The following items are required to beat the game (I will also include Japanese names for the items as the Japanese version is significantly faster):
12 Acorns (どんぐり)
9 Apples (りんご, 4 for yellow dress mid-way through the game)
18 Adhesive (ノリ)
16 Bee's Wax (ハチのロウ)
4 Beautiful Fallen Leaves (キレイ, only needed in Andalasia)
16 Cloth (生地, 4 for yellow dress)
8 Sewing Thread (糸, 5 for yellow dress)
5 Spider Webs (クモのす, only needed in Andalasia)
49 Honey (ハチミツ, 4 for yellow dress)
22 Red Flowers (赤い花)
22 Blue Flowers (青い花)
24 Dandelions (タンポポ, 15 for yellow dress)
10 White Flowers (白い花, 7 in Andalasia)
The next notable thing to note is with the combat. At the start of combat, there are three different minigames. If you want to get the red star for more damage and meter build, you would want the star spinning wheel. If you didn't want a star (mainly when facing weaker enemies), maybe the falling stars would be better but I'm not certain. From there, I guess one would have to check if there is a way to manipulate what attack patterns you get, ideally avoiding situations where you are forced to defend if possible. There are also special attacks where you can avoid combat and using these special attacks effectively is naturally going to be important.
Those are the main, RNG things that will need to be worked around in the game. The game seemingly does not have a lot of potential for skips. The game has a very strict progression system and anything such as skipping one fight will break the progression. The game has a few smaller skips but it would mostly come down to optimised execution and RNG manipulation. I did mention this before but the Japanese version is significantly faster (as in multiple minutes faster) so it will very much be the version to TAS.
Here is the RTA WR just as a frame of reference. Tons of time can be saved from optimised execution and RNG manipulation:
