This game is an updated version of the PS1 classic. I recently TASed the "Extra Vision" and finished with a time of 1'38"97. The fastest non-TAS time I could find on YouTube (maybe I didn't look hard enough?) was 1'53"04, however, this run has a 'no damage' standard unlike my TAS. Here's the links to both: My TAS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxpiS6Sx5YY Non-TAS...record..?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZntoZJXGHoI

Seems like bad game choice.

Well, this looks like a good game for TASing. Sure its a little on the long side, but I still think its would be a great watch. Anyone have plans to TAS this?

Awesome work. One suggestion. If you do a full game run, PLEASE turn on Phantomile voices instead of the English dub? Thanks.

Nice. I was curious to the limit on some of the bosses. Try Baladium, the only boss that I think the time is unbeatable unless somebody manages to find a way to hit more than 2 pieces at a time. I'm also curious about Evil Seadoph, mostly in regards to RNG. I got a patter in that run that I've yet to have seen since then and I'm curious if it has to deal with how I played or if I haven't been that lucky since.

So I had recently been improving my TA for Evil Seadoph and was doing some comparisons to the TAS, curious to see how much time improvement was left. And apparently I'm 39 frames faster than the TAS? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKdIF4dLIDg I loaded up both videos in Yua, trimmed them down to the same comparison marks (boss HP bar first begins to fill until the final hit when the boss HP bar turns color) and it came out 39 frames different. 1956 frames for me vs 1995 frames for the TAS. First hit for me is 5 frames slower than the TAS. Second hit for me still 5 frames slower than the TAS. Third hit for me is 1 frame slower than the TAS (gain of 4 frames). And then the 4th hit is the big improvement. Taking a quick analysis, it looks like Pamela jumped sooner compared to the TAS. I assume something with the positioning had to deal with it? Makes me wonder though seeing that I start with a 5 frame deficit if it's possible to get the TA below 34s (right now it's 4 frames from that mark), which looks like grabbing Seadoph on the first hit, falling back to the right then immediately throwing made the difference there. I do have a different gem count, but it's still under the same 6x+4 rules mentioned to get the good RNG. Just noting thoughts and observations in case an improvement is ever done.
