I simply cannot get BizHawk to compile. I got the latest source (at time of writing, r4343), and it refuses to compile. After opening BizHawk_2012.sln in VS2012, I get the following output when trying to compile BizHawk.MultiClient_v4.5: Error 1 Resource file "GenGameGenie.resx" cannot be found. BizHawk.MultiClient_v4.5 This makes no sense, as I have just verified the presence of a file with that name and extension in (sourceroot)\BizHawk.MultiClient\GENtools. Help!

Update and try again. That has been fixed. Also, the 4.5 solution file is experimental, I would not recommend using it, unless you know what you are doing and want to worry about fixing compile errors.
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

I'm trying to compile bizhawk and I'm getting multiple errors. When using other PCs, the errors are completely different. Do we have a list of frameworks that are required? Apparently, I have a conflicts that might require a dedicated machine for building this environment.
I recently discovered that if you haven't reached a level of frustration with TASing any game, then you haven't done your due diligence. ---- SOYZA: Are you playing a game? NYMX: I'm not playing a game, I'm TASing. SOYZA: Oh...so its not a game...Its for real? ---- Anybody got a Quantum computer I can borrow for 20 minutes? Nevermind...eien's 64 core machine will do. :) ---- BOTing will be the end of all games. --NYMX
