Tuff E Nuff, known as Dead Dance in Japan, is your average SF2 clone. The four characters—Syoh, Zazi, Kotono, and Vortz—are basically identical to Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, and Zangief respectively. There is a simple four button system, with 2 buttons for light and heavy kicks and 2 buttons for light and heavy punches. You can press up on the D-Pad to jump. Special moves can also be performed using certain button combinations.
Three modes are available: Story Mode, where you fight various characters leading up to Jade, the villain; 1P vs 2P Mode, where 2 players fight against each other; and Vs. CPU Mode, where 1 or 2 players can fight a CPU character.
I have began to make a playaround TAS showing off the game's different moves. I haven't really found any glitches in the game yet, besides some character-to-character collision oddities.
SMB2U is the best NES Mario game.
