TAS Goals:
  • Solve all non-DLC puzzles.
    • 150 puzzles from the story.
    • 20 puzzles from Daily Puzzle.
      • All prevoius games had extra puzzles you could download weekly/daily for a time after release, but this is the first game to give you a selection from the start without a download.
    • 15 puzzles from Layton's Challenges.
  • Collect 295 hint coins.
  • Collect 39 items for the Collection.
  • Treasure Hunt...
    • Complete the free challenge given at the start.
      • Save data must be made in order to open Treasure Hunt.
    • Redeem the points gained from the challenge for an additional 5 hint coins OR a collection item (Mini Bostonius).
      • You get 3 points for doing the free challenge, so you can only get one; in this instance, I got the collection item. They both take the same amount of time to redeem.
      • Additional challenges can be obtained via StreetPass, with other players sending challenges they made to you, or with Play Coins. These methods require a second player and a currency not earnable within the game itself respectively. As such, only the one free challenge is completed.
    • Discover all 100 mystery items.
  • Get all 20 episodes.
    • Don't need to watch them.
  • Complete all 3 minigames in the Professor's trunk (Dress Up, Nutty Roller, and Bloom Burst).
    • Bloom Burst has some visual errors, namely the glowing/transparent textures. It otherwise doesn't affect gameplay.
  • Stamp all 20 articles in the World Times.
Some cutscenes cannot be skipped.

nymx: Claiming for judging.
As far as I can tell, all puzzles and other artifacts have been obtained for a 100% completion, even those that appear after the game end credits play. The closes RTA movie I could find is this one which is faster than this on but, although completes all story puzzles, does not bother with collectibles. This movie looks optimal to a casual viewer and the last input makes sense.
Accepting to Standard 100%
In fact, this category does appear to complete all of the game, rather than just the speedrun.com category of "All Story Puzzles".
Accepting also to "Standard" as Full Completion, classified at given branch in submission title.
fsvgm777: Processing. r3gamerz is handling the encodes for this one.
Also replacing the movie file with one that sets the re-record count to 0, as the actual re-record count is not known. This was discussed between r3gamerz and UndercookedRice in private, and it was agreed to just nuke the re-record count.

FYI: I'm sorry for the delay. I am going to be addressing this submission soon. I'm taking the weekend off so that I can relax.
I recently discovered that if you haven't reached a level of frustration with TASing any game, then you haven't done your due diligence. ---- SOYZA: Are you playing a game? NYMX: I'm not playing a game, I'm TASing. SOYZA: Oh...so its not a game...Its for real? ---- Anybody got a Quantum computer I can borrow for 20 minutes? Nevermind...eien's 64 core machine will do. :) ---- BOTing will be the end of all games. --NYMX

I managed to get around the visual issue. I switched the graphics for rendering in BizHawk to discrete GPU (NVIDIA), so the visual issue is gone. This is a comparison image between integrated GPU vs discrete GPU rendering difference.

Also I noticed the Rerecord count is 46, which is really low considering the total run time. Are you able to recall the actual rerecord count?
