Kentilla, a text adventure. You can buffer every key before the game even loads, so the TAS would probably be done way before the game is finished, and you can do some extreme word shortening. "Unlock the red door with the small key" can become "UN RE W SM"

Gumball. This game provides a unique opportunity to showcase superhuman skill, and is quite interesting, with the ability to control the gumball release rate. It also exists for Apple II, and should probably be TASed on that platform. Naturally, the TAS would raise the rate as high as possible to help meet the quota for each level. The multitasking requirements for each level increase. Level 1 is two colors plus rejects, and is fairly trivial for humans. quota is 8 Level 2 is three colors plus rejects, and a bigger quota. quota is 18 Level 3 is all four colors, and a bigger quota of 29, but you can still do it in one trip. Level 4 adds a quota of 40, too big to get all in one trip, and the explosive gumballs, which must be disarmed to avoid a game over by shooting them with a pair of crosshairs, which freezes up the rest of your controls. even if they are sent off the screen down the rejects tube, they will explode when the timer hits zero. if they reach the ground or a cart, they will explode. Explosion is instant game over. Level 5 has more bombs and a quota of 50. beat that and you win. If you send anything but a reject down the right garbage, or let any gumball hit the ground, the quota may be increased by 1. video of the apple II version, where someone gets to level 4, and then looses to an exploding gumball that's sent down the rejects area. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myApVAyeRRQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b72a6kSTKCA beaten, but not perfectly.

Tony - Montezuma's Gold, a new homebrew platformer. Sort of Montezuma's Revenge style, mainly run around grabbing keys for locks. Can only hold 4 items at once, so need to backtrack in spots to use some keys early. RTA run - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjTRNvceRl4

Runn 'n' Gunn, a homebrew platformer. Short run, 2 characters, Runn can double jump and moves faster, Gunn can single jump, is slow but has a strong gun, so I use Runn until the boss when I want more firepower. I take a number of deaths to refill health, it's probably possible to skip some, not sure if it would be faster. Need to run around and grab a keycard in each section. Paw Noir, a short puzzle platformer. Dying leaves behind a body and you use your dead bodies to make it to the ball of yarn at the end. Pretty straightforward, but I did find that you can zip by jumping into a wall holding a body behind you and letting go right before the wall. Only zips you up so I didn't find a use for it. There are also some warps, I didn't look for them all, but found one in stage 4 and 8. RTA run - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abG4rBCLvyA

Gravity Boy, a short homebrew puzzle game for Commodore Plus/4. Sort of a real time sliding puzzle type of game. Need to collect 8 of the yellow items and turn them in on the last room. I think I'm doing the quickest route, but movement can be faster. ROM - https://plus4world.powweb.com/software/Gravity_Boy RTA run - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IU1IHAB5gus

Digiloi, short homebrew run n gun. Need to get 3 keys, and they only appear in order, so really only one route to take. And just manage health for damaging thru enemies, probably can take damage in slightly different spots, I didn't time much. Really neat cause the graphics are all done in PETSCII textmode. Musketeer, a new homebrew platformer. Goal is collect all the diamonds to enter the final room. Probably some rooms can be faster, but I think the overall route is good. RTA run - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ5BsN1Ae9Y

Zamczysko, a short platformer from 1995. Goal is to collect the 5 diamonds then return to the start. Collect keys to open doors. I think my general route is good, can probably avoid the intentional death. I have a map I made I can share if anyone wants to give the game a shot. Triss, another Polish C64 platformer. Goal is to collect the 20 stones then use the Cross item in the boss room. Have to get some items to open up other items/paths. I made a nice map I can share if anyone is interested in the game. I found an OoB at the very start of the run, just buffer jump as the game starts and you can get above the starting room. Using this you can grab the Key right away and skip back tracking for it later. The OoB does wrap to the other side of the map. I hoped I could wrap up to the bottom of the map but I couldn't find a way thru. I did manage to find the Cross item in the OoB, so you could do that but not sure how much faster it could be. But once you get back in bounds I don't think you can get out again. So unfortunately since you need to collect all 20 stones, it doesn't majorly break anything. Escape, an unreleased C64 platformer. Need to collect the 13 squares, then you can take the final teleporter to the exit. On a game over all the items are shuffled, but starting off a fresh reset the item layout is fixed. I made a map for this one as well and can share with anyone that's interested. Key Finders, an exploration type game. 4 separate areas, in each area you need to find 4 keys to unlock 4 doors to get the chip which will open the exit. Can also find the gun and the helmet, which protects you from the laser. I take 1 intentional death in Area 3 to skip some back tracking, but I didn't think deaths anywhere else was worth it. I also made a map for this if anyone interested wants it. RTA run - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mi-zjde_2LY
