First four rounds attack the best score, final round plays around for a short bit.
The first round is just mashing B and A. The second is holding B and maneuvering the obstacles with the arrows. Round three is Simon played up to attempt 16. You have to play 16 rounds to get a 100 score. Round 4 is mashing B and A then holding X until the ball is at a 45 degree angle for the first frame. The final round is a 10-yard fight for the endzone against 1-3 defenders. The final round allows for some playground techniques like getting tackled on the endzone. The final result is a 100 grade on each stat.
Darkman425: I changed the branch name to "Official Tryout Registration, Quarterback, maximum score" for 3 reasons:
- Official Tryout Registration is what the manual calls the training minigames done to determine stats for custom made characters.
- Each position has a different set of training minigames done. Unless something has gone horribly wrong with a team's coaching, a quarterback isn't expected to do any kick based training exercises.
- Maximum score is straightforward if going by the rating at the end of each exercise, although for this submission this extends to the farthest throws for the Passing Range Drill.
I'm willing to talk further with other staff members if this is a bit too wordy for a branch label but tentatively this is what I'm setting the branch name for now.
From what I understand from the manual, the player size determines how fast they can move in the 40 Yard Dash and the Obstacle Course minigames with larger players being slower. The chosen player stats seem to be the best for completing those minigames optimally due to their build being close to the smallest possible with a slight bump to weight. The main section that's not totally speed oriented in this submission is the 10 Yard Fight Drill as it's clearly intended by the author as a speed-entertainment tradeoff while still getting the 100 grade in the minigame, which I find fine as the rest of the minigames look well optimized for speed. Nice work!
