No more bullshitting around, ladies and gentlemen, this time our (Me and De's) skills are a bit higher and there will be no mistakes. We will take it much slower compared with last time in order to gain every frame possible and obviously to find any new glitches and try to improve everything which is quite evident in this file: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/440/Mega%20Man%204%20WIP%20AngerFist%26DeHackEd.fcm This is our WIP. Its 184 frames faster than our current published run and 52 frames faster than Shinryuu's current WIP. Of course, it should be noted that our WIP got help from Shinryuu's one but I (with guidance from Bisqwit) redid a couple of parts so it has some original moves etc.

Awesome Shin :) Will sure test that but it will be pretty close compared with mine current version. Shin, you dont need to jump one pixel after you've climbed on a ladder, you can slide instantly.

Holy macarony, there are just so many Mega Man runs circuling right now that I can't keep track of them anymore. :) Great job so far, if I'm not mistaken you save quite some time by getting hit and therefor can walk on the spikes at the beginning of Pharaoh Man, right? 353 frames improvement from just two stages is quite amazing, I hope you continue like this. Faster Mega Man runs are always very nice! ;)

Did a tiny change with our last WIP. Took another hit from those green spinning enemies at frame 11245. The reason I didnt take hit from one of them were because the final totem situation. I thought that you'd also die from the totems projectile, which you obviously dont, you will however die if you take a direct hit from the totem itself, so I simply redid it and saved another 19 frames :) http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/486/MM4-WIP-AngerFistAndDeHacked-BrightManV2-FinalVersion.fcm Now 372 frames faster. Still alive. Just finished Ring Man and according to my calculations, we are currently 748 frames faster than our previous run, meaning we are 12,4 seconds ahead. Edit: by the way, I should mention that I think I found a unknown trick for the first huge ring enemy (not sure if Kopernical discovered this first), during when I kill him, I managed to slide beneath from one of his rings and didnt get hit somehow.. I also destroyed my previous attempt for the first ladder areas in Ring Man, found a new method which is pretty significant.

Dust Man Dead and Skull Man stage complete (though Skull Man himself is still alive). Here is the WIP I seldom talk good about my style when I work on a TAS but Im much more aggressive in both Dust Man and Skull Man. Hope you enjoy it!

Old Run: First time we land on Dive Man stage, frame: 40998. New kickass run: Same as above, frame: 40067. 40998-40067 = 931 frames faster so we are at this point: 15,5 seconds faster :) (931/60). Thanks for the encouragement Mister V.

It looked like at frame 4076 you just jumped off of some spikes. I had to watch in frame advance to see the trickery behind it :) This is looking very polished. Skull Man: "Man I've been sitting in this boring room for like 2 weeks...holy crap, there's Mega Man!! Ok, I better get ready for a fight!! [waits]... I thought about that and it seemed the majority of the audience did not like it so I stopped doing that even though I certainly dont consider them as annoying. On the contrary, I think its cooler than a regular "dull" jump.
