Well, once again I was unable to download the run, because of Rapidshare. I don't know what problem they have with me, but they obviously have one. AT this rate, I will be forced to wait until the run is actually published before I can watch any of it...

I will try what asteron suggested about the red coin, if it works the level will be very different.
Twiddling both with the height at which I jumped from the pole and the time when I dived got this close without slowdown Im not sure how close this is to the hitbox of the coin... but with frame precision you might be able to knick the corner of it... I think its close but probably not possible ... I was also thinking maybe some kind of jump off the edge of the platform after its tilted on its side might work? I know how important that coin is but am not sure how doable getting it is...

Yea... getting it is a real problem. If on that image that was the closest you got to the coin, he's still really far from getting it. Kitsune: maybe if you provide an email or something i could send you. Or you can download the previous WIP which didn't come with savestate and i hosted on my site. It plays to the end of BBH

Holy wow! I just watched the level, Cool, Cool Mountain. I have to say, that part where you collected the coins really caught my attention. I never thought anyone could pull off such insane stunts. :3 And the Slide was very interesting to watch. I never saw anyone zoom the camera out on the slide, not even I ever did that. I am quite surprised with how you got the star in the cage in Bob-Omb Battlefield. ;3 Wow. I didn't know you could use that trick to Zip around all over the level too, very impressive. This is going to be a very interesting run when it's finished. ^.~ I am very impressed with this run. I can hardly wait for the next WIP. ^.^

OMG, that was awesome. I just laughed out loud watching Bowser in the Fire Sea, when you made it half way through the level with the 1-up mushroom still following you, and when it finally caught you when you collected the star. That was the coolest thing I've seen today. Thank you for redoing that star.

Imprezive shaving of that many seconds. This will IMO be a star run if you keep it up. Just wondering if the 6th coin could have been picked up faster?

Yeah Im wondering how much it is worth running up the spiral more for additional height vs waiting. FODA probably made the right call but its not obvious.

You mean, going to the left where it's higher and try to jump from there? could work if it was much higher. The way i did i was going left when i reached it. Otherwise i'd be going away from the goal.

Not necessarily true. He can name it wip-v99.01 .... not sure if you call that 2 digits or 4 digits. Or maybe even wip-v99a. hehe... ;-)

Yes, we can survive without updates for a few more weeks. After that, we can eat Bag of Magic Food when we get desperate.

Well I know he's working on it; I wasn't expecting him to be done. I just wanted to know how far he's gone, or is he just deciding to finish the damn thing and not release any WIPs until it is done?

My understanding is that he has a job, so sometimes he can do a lot of work and post WIPs every day, and sometimes he has no time to work on it for a few weeks. I don't think he would stop posting WIPs without telling us, so no WIPs likely means that he there is little or no progress to report. I'm sure he'll have something impressive to show us soon, but we have to be patient.
