Yeah, I just havent played it for a while. Smartass :) Ive been trying to get to the ledge and found it easy to kill both guys in the room and jump on the chest. I dont know if this is faster but I waste maybe 3 seconds killing each guy and 5 seconds for the chest to appear. Where is the target above the invisible platform?

I hope you still remember what you have to do to beat Bowser at the end.

that's easy, just grab him, spin him, throw him away and get the axe

Hah, you don't remember either! You have to dodge its attacks until the helicopter guy drops the rocket launcher, then deliver the final shot. After that you can start a new game with the axe.

Keep in mind that if you're playing through on the hardest route then you simply won't be able to destroy his brain in 1 cycle before he re-forms. Make sure to be ready to finish him off after the fake credits, too. And it'll help if you save your missiles for his next-to-last form (you don't need to worry about the last fight as you'll win automatically when you're forced to use your Limit Break.)

I thought you had to shoot at the radome with the Stinger missiles until the external sensors are disabled, then take out the pilot. Here's a Mupen64 video of how to find the bullseye.

I cant seem to get Bongo Bongo in 1 cycle. I got the hands fast, I just cant kill him while he is down. Any suggestions besides sword spinning.

Well, you can keep him down with just properly timed crouch stabs and it shouldn't be too hard in a TAS, and it's also faster (of course you jumpslash him first). I suggest using frame advance to time the crouch stabs, unless you're already using it.

Are you sure that crouch stabs keep him down? If it doesn't work, you would probably have to alternate crouch stabs and spin attacks, but then your "stored" jumpslash goes away. Hey, at least it would look cool.

TSA said it works with any kind of slash, it's just easier to do on a console by using quickspins.

Here ya go! Save after the race. http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=BDF7D9296A0F5EDB I think what I COULD have done better is super slide after pulling the beak to the right pillar or whatever but that would have wasted 13 seconds for bomb and loading menu screens. Oh well.

For some reason i'm getting desyncs left and right...This has never happened to me before. Nevermind, I got it to work, at least from the provided savestate, havent tried it from the beginning yet. Awesome to see that seam get destroyed though... Do you have a savestate from the beginning of the adult section?

I viewed it on a computer that always causes desyncs for me and it worked perfecly, lol. Comments: -Why did you crouch stab 2-3 times at the gravestone? 1 should be enough. Nothing major though. -Shadow early was beatiful, loved the thrown bomb. -You can use a stored ground jump to skip any ground triggered text box... not sure if it applies to all texts in shadow, but I'm pretty sure it works on some. -I think there is a video of someone beating the hover boots monster in one (maybe it was two) cycle(s). -Great movement though the temple, very fun to watch. ;) -I really liked your "big skull room", but isn't it a waste of bombs to do that? -Your master hand battle could be faster, just kill the big hand with a jumpslash, then kill all three small hands with a quick spin. -Good job on Bongo Bongo, I'm glad you used the crouch stab only tactic. Overall, almost perfect, your movement is especcially good. This is already star material. :)

Thank you. For the super slide on enemies, do you still have to "Grab" an object while putting the sword away?

I just tried it from the beginning and it worked all the way through. =) Is it possible to just jumpslash at Bongo Bongo when he's charging at you instead of hookshotting his face first? I thought it was, but maybe he won't stay down if you do that. I wouldn't really know. I saw some things that I think could be improved, but it was quite enjoyable to watch nevertheless. Seeing Link slipping throughout the whole dungeon was great. =)

Absolutely fantastic work in Shadow Temple. You've got yourself a previous meh (what I intended to vote) voter to a clear yes voter. Your victorious effort made me forget the annoying sound of your low HP :) Go Guano!

Yes, that was great, watched it again. The great thing about the hover boots is it allows you to cut corners instead of doing 90 degree stuff, of course you cant change direction as well, but you did a great job of losing minimal time on direction changes.

This run is very sickening. I get nauseated just watching it, and very much not in the same way as when you first regain consciousness after being shot in the stomach, or when a friend of many years remorselessly breaks a sacred promise and betrays your friendship and trust. Bravo.

You know it by now, but Art. I didn't believe TAS could be inspiring, but your shadow temple play was. My only bit of criticism for now: when aiming high up you can use L to start higher. Difference is less than a second, but it's faster.
