Activate the murder beam, shoot samus' ship. Hop in the ship and fly away, the credits and percentage screens will show up as normal.

hmm I cannot reproduce it on snes9x, but it works for me using zsnes. To do it, turn off the charge beam and the wave beam. Leave the the ice beam on and the spazer, select the high jump boots and quickly press left and A at the same time to select the plasma beam without turning off the spazer. Shoot your ship and then the game will slow down considerably, hop in and then the game should cut to the scene where the planet explodes.

Has anyone figured out the problem with metroid limit? I'd very much like to see a run of this game.

It seems that Snes9x doesn't handle some of the unusual "features" (mainly the internal SM glitches) correctly. For example, the space/time beam doesn't seem to work if the game is running through Snes9x. I've got an impression that ZSNES handles all this moments identically to the original console (not surprising though, it definitely emulates the SNES better).

Then I guess we'll have to wait until zsnes gets rerecording implemented.

Well, technically it is already implemented for quite a long time (ever since DOS 0.9xx versions, I believe), but something went bad at some point (somewhere around 0.989c release?), and all the later versions that have rerecording support may not be considered safe to use, and I still can't really understand what holds the developers from reimplementing the bulletproof rerecording support (well, unless it requires them to rewrite half of the emulator code from scratch).

I don't think it does, they just need time to fix all bugs. If I remember correctly, the rerecord feature was implemented since the 1.42 WIPS (not the official version) which is around a year ago now. The main reason why ZSNES couldn't compete with Snes9x in movie recording was because the movies often went out of sync. It started since ZSNES v1.10 when they implemented Netplay which is the reason for most desyncs. All older versions (from 1.01 and back) had a very stable and safe movie recording but they were all DOS which isn't supported by most systems today. But there is still hope. They removed Netplay support in order to fix the movie desyncs and if all goes well ZSNES will once again have a stable and safe movie support soon.

We're improving. I've made a bunch of movies with the new ZSNES support. Some games I've done 20 minute runs without a single desync. Other seem to desync every 5 minutes. While others still seem to desync occasionly, but it's a bit random when. Although even when it desynced, I just started recording again from right before the desync. However it is annoying, and we're working on it.

Um, I downloaded all the ones on this site and the one I am watching right now all the guy has been doing for 15 minutes is just dick around in the Ceres Station. Is there a purpose for this or is it not playing right.

This is what we call a desync. You should read the FAQ or something. Otherwise you could try to tick some of the options avalible. Like WIP-timing and stuff like that. Edit: It could also desync from the fact that you need to load a savestate as well, since it's not always intended to play from start. ;)

I'm still fighting Ridley. It turned out that it's extremely difficult to hit him with the Wave-PB Charge all 4 times in one turn because of his damn tail that almost always blocks the 4th projectile (bottom one from the back). Nevertheless I made myself the goal to still get all 4 Wave-PB Charges I have fully in without delays but this works only if you can manipulate Ridley to move in the exactly needed direction but on the other side always keep distance of him to not get damage on Samus. So far I managed to fully hit him with 3 Wave-PB Charges. If I get the last one in the rest of the fight shouldn't be a big problem except of triggering Ridleys KO-Grab as fast as possible. I hope it won't take too much time for me to escape LN and finally release the 3rd teaser. :-)

The first Ridley kill was more a test TAS to analyze the possibilities in LN without optimizing too much. This one is definitely the final attempt which is now 100% optimized (or at least as good as I could do). The result looks pretty good now and I'm sure the energy will easily suffice for the LN escape.

Hey guys, ive downloaded the 100% run by JXQ, and it desyncs, like the other guy said he just mucks around at ceres station. And saying change the music settings doesnt help :p, what music settings do i change it too? Ive used the settings described in the notes by JXQ, ive downloaded different emulators, tried using a savestates, nothing works. And due to my slow cpomputer it would take me ages to download the avi... Thanks anyone who tries to help.
