Just wondering if anyone has played this game or speed runned it. I just remembered this one cause I saw the NES version. Then I realized that the Genesis version wasn't called Fist of the North Star. So anyone?

I hated that game so much when I was younger! Personally I think it wouldn't make a good TAS/Speedrun, as the characters moves are very limited.

To be honest, Last Battle has the comedy factor going for it, but not much else. Even for its time it was a pretty repetitive and boring fighting game. NOW YOU HAVE THE LOOK OF A HERO

Do the Japanese version for headpunching fun and win.

Nooooo... The Japanese version had exploding heads, but the English version is infinitely superior for its fantastic dialogue. "AARZAK! SAVE THE WORLD!" "I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SAVE THIS WORLD!!!!!!11"

It looks boring only because you walked. It's faster to jump. In more detail, to move right as fast as possible: jump, turn left for one frame, hold right. Normally jumping is slower than walking, but if you turn in the air, speed increases (which is completely unintuitive and crazy). Edit: Oh, even more strange is that it does not seem to work in every level. I have no idea what makes the difference between the levels. Edit: And actually, you don't need to turn in the air, it's enough to jump still for one frame, then press left/right.

Man, I can't believe you guys figured all this junk about the game... I just remember playing it in my youth, and seeing guys fly off the screen when you punched them.

Headpunching fun over retarded dialogue that you might not even see to begin with if it's skipable, damnit.
