While the sound in this run is not 100% accurate due to using BizHawk, the run itself is great! Yes vote from me. In the future, using FCEUX will ensure 100% accurate audio.
In the future, they can use whichever emulator they want.
FCEUX is not normally regarded as highly accurate in any regard, and I doubt it has "100% accurate" audio of all things. I'm unsure any NES emulator has achieved that level of accuracy in the APU. Do you know of any research showing that FCEUX is that accurate? I'd be very interested in reading more about it.
I believe Mesen might be better as it's more accurate as far as I know. There was a video by 100th Coin testing the accuracies of most of these emulators and Mesen came out in second behind the emulator designed around passing those tests and very high above FCEUX (Timestamped vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYjYmSniQyM&t=784). Additionally I know at least for Super Mario Bros 1 FCEUX actually has quite a few inaccuracies and as mentioned by Spikestuff is banned from RTA runs for the game. The most glaring example of this that I can think of is that on Bizhawk you can press start to start the game on frame 32 after power on but due to FCEUX not emulating something correctly you cannot start until frame 33. Ofc if yall say it's more accurate I'll encode on there, just putting in my two cents.
