Odds are, you have the US version. Search for the name that Bisqwit posted earlier.

http://planetquake.com/sda/other/lttp.html This site has one of TSA's current runs. He says the route isn't the best, so looking for improvements from this route could be a start.

http://www.hostultra.com/~z4g/tricks/fivemin.html That site gives step-by-step picture instructions on how to accomplish that task.

With the screen warping glitch in LA, one could actually finish the game in about 7 minutes. Since you can warp to the final dungeon from the beach you start on.

The record's down to 29:10 now, but it wasn't submitted to TG. http://planetquake.com/sda/other/metroid.html It's on SDA.

There's a FMV file for download on the main site.

Nope, there's only one ending.

Unfortunately, Famtasia is the only emulator that supports FMV files. There are other NES emulators out there and they all have their own formats. Since movies rarely work on different versions of the same emulator, movies working across different emulators would prove to be a difficuly task to accomplish.

Personally, I've got 3 NES systems and about 160 games, all legit.

Yeah, dungeons 4 and 5 are the only exceptions. It was coded into the game for some currently unknown reason.

From what I've seen, it's faster to get 1 or 2 at the goal. That's assuming you're playing for speed though.

Did you stop the movie at the last hit to Wily, or after the entire ending?

Wow, I'm impressed already. It took me nearly 20 minutes to finish the first 8 levels.

Heh, I guess that's why this topic has more replies than views.

You can watch my run for tips, but don't go for the BEAT part bosses, as they generally take longer to get to. Also, I'd beat Centaur Man as soon as possible, as he has the full screen kill-all weapon in this one.

You press Up+A on controller 2 and it'll kill your character. This was available in several NES games...

Yeah, the file sizes are too much for my puny dial up connection to handle.

I've made a VirtuaNES ver 0.90 movie of Mega Man 6. You can download it from: http://babyamy.tripod.com/grinto/stuff.html There's some room for improvement, but I'll probably be redoing it on Famtasia soon enough anyway.

http://babyamy.tripod.com/grinto/famtasia24060.zip (copy this address, rather than clicking it) Hopefully I got it right this time! Choose one of the default window sizes to update it to the new resolution. It doesn't work in fullscreen though, unfortunately.
