Hmm, I haven't had this problem, but I've heard a recent version of ffdshow is full of problems. If you have that version, maybe you should find a slightly older one.

I don't know about anyone else, but rebooting in order to watch a 20-minute movie doesn't work for me. If you're on Windows, just get a nifty program called Gspot. It tells you what codec the particular movie is using. Then use Google to find the codec. NEVER use one of those "every codec in the entire world plus some more!!1" packages. They are pure evil. (edit: ffdshow is probably an exception)

I want to see a single-segment run through the whole game without saving. That would be impressive. Anyway, my best hell time is 9:26, though I can't say I've been trying really hard. I tried like 3 times after becoming good enough to beat it consistently.

I wonder how long it takes for someone to make an even bigger one! So large, it takes one person per button, and they have to jump on them (too large to press with the hands or one foot).

There are no difficulty levels in Starcraft, so that's not an issue.

Heh, that's pretty cool. I made this thing. I don't know what it is, but it was a bit of fun making it.

Elasto Mania is loads of fun. It's a 2D motorcycle game with some crazy physics. It's shareware, but still worth checking out. (no Linux version)

Okay, I watched them both, and I think they are both awesome. How about just having 2 different movies?

Getting hit looks ugly, makes you not get a star for the level, and doesn't save any in-game time (most probably). So I say it should NOT get hit anywhere. Unless there's some HUGE MAJOR shortcut. I don't think it's good to sacrifice coolness for a very small amount of time.

Hook. It was so awful, I want to see it get owned! Mwahahahahahahahhaa! Edit: Actually, I just learned there is a NES version of that game. So, forget about the Gameboy version. Maybe I'll get around to doing this game some day.

This game is so awesome. It's very silly (you control a spinning stick and must not touch anything while trying to reach the end), fun and challenging. Everyone should play this game. Oh, and a timeattack would be nice, sure.

Extremely good timeattack, I say. Entertaining the whole time, has some really cool tricks, beats the current movie by over 9 minutes, etc. Very well done!

The only way to "predict" the universe would be to somehow be outside it. For example, imagine the universe as a super basic pocket calculator. Pretty easy to predict what it does, right? But the pocket calculator cannot predict itself. It's just not possible, it doesn't make sense. It would first have to predict itself predicting itself, and it would just be a mess. So a pocket calculator can NOT predict itself, but it IS deterministic. I think our universe is like that pocket calculator, only much more complicated. In other words, no, we can't predict the future. Sorry.

Heh, that game is just crazy. It's about 99% luck, but somehow it is still fun. My record is something just over 6000.

I never expected this game to be improved by... what, 20 seconds? What's the total improvement? Anyway, I haven't watched this yet but I'm sure it is extremely cool. Very nicely done. Can't wait for the .AVI. :)

Yeah, that cannonball was already too far to the left. I wouldn't have been able to lower it enough in time. Thanks for the comments, everyone. I'm sure I'll be able to finish this thing eventually, one level at a time.
