Wow, I like "speedcrash.mpg" ... I can see now that the finished movie is going to be more awesome than I thought...

I don't know about anyone else but I have a plugin in Winamp that does that for me; I just open the file in it and I get a long playlist with all the songs.

The only fighting games I've really played are Street Fighter 2 (SNES)(hours upon hours of fun back in the days), Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3 (all SNES versions) and Super Smash Bros. Melee, which is pretty good fun in my opinion. Also, I've played Soul Calibur 3 (Gamecube) a little, and it's moderately okay, though I imagine there are better fighting games. So I guess Street Fighter 2 is my favorite fighting game of all time, even though I've only played the possibly crappy SNES version.

Basic game info would help...? What do you mean I'm too lazy to look for myself, of course I am too lazy to look!

I've heard of someone converting Famtasia videos into VirtuaNES videos, but they didn't always work due to very tiny emulation differences. Usually they would desync in seconds. So this would only work for a few games probably. By the way, what is it at this point that prevents the patched FCEU (with movie rerecording, slowdown and single-frame-advancement) from being supported on this site?

It doesn't have to be good to be better than Famtasia... anyway, I would like hotkey reassignment and 'bulletproof' rerecording like in Snes9x.

Ah, that reminds me. I still have a Gameboy somewhere around the place. It's the old crappy one! In addition to that, I also have a Gameboy Pocket somewhere, which came between the first Gameboy and Gameboy Color.

Eh, I would watch it but might become boring pretty quickly... Heh heh heh, just kidding. Actually, it might be fun. Though I don't think it would serve the purpose of teaching people how to make timeattack movies, it could be an entertaining documentary. Then, submit a story about it on Slashdot! Woohoo! Inform the masses!

I have a Nintendo 64 along with a few games. I never play on it anymore. Lately, though, I've had a strange urge to play through Blast Corps again. My brother has a GameCube, which I use to play essential games like Metroid Prime. And of course I have a perfectly good PC, which means I have access to emulators for all the old classic consoles. And soon I will have two very awesome gamepads to complete the experience!

Hmm, I guess that's one way to do it. I prefer the no-extra-stuff vanilla USB controller though. Much less hassle and it makes it possible to use both controllers seperately. It's better for 4-player though (not that I know of any 4-player game except Bomberman).

Alright! I just purchased 2 SNES controllers, I can't wait! If I'm VERY lucky I'll have them before the weekend. Edit: it turns out I am NOT lucky

Mario Kart on SNES, and F-Zero (edit: okay, I forgot F-Zero doesn't actually have multiplayer). Actually it's only good if you played these games before because otherwise the graphics are nearly intolerable. Ice Climbers on NES is always good for laughs. Other than that, all the ones I can think of are already mentioned (especially Smash TV). Don't forget to take a short break from playing to post how they're working out... because I have just about decided to get 2 SNES controllers as well and would like to know...

Hmm, since you all have a nice little "what was that game" thread going, I guess I might throw this one in. I'm not really looking for it, but playing it again might be a bit of fun. You're a penguin and you have to run across a dangerous track to get home and answer the telephone (at least I think that's how the storyline goes). There are various obstacles that must be dodged or jumped over, including cracks in the ice. You might have played this game on one of those carts that have many many games on them...

I don't know, I think that game might quickly become boring to watch. It'd have to be super duper fast to really count as "fast" in that game, since it is normally very fast anyway. :) But I will watch it if you make one, at least for the first twenty minutes.

Bleh, 3 players playing Lost Vikings would have been infinitely cool. But I guess 2 players will still be fast and fun...

Try telling that to my 10-year-old self who sucks at Megaman. :) But you're right, I fired up the emulator and after a little while, I can now beat Ringman mostly without taking a hit. Of course, I still make mistakes but if I would practise a little longer I'm sure I could do it unharmed.

There's a very fun football game called "World Cup" for NES. The good part about it is there are almost no rules in it. :) You can knock out the other team, and then get free goals for the rest of the match, etc...
