Err, you do know that the title screen in your Tom & Jerry-run is improvable with around 14 frames... right? As for the run... I did not like it, but I will watch it again before voting. I seem to have a hard time enjoying "Aims for entertainment"-runs.

Yay! Good looking Tetris-playing, and if that should get boring, the input display is having some crazy seizures. I vote yes.

The pink ones make Kuros jump higher, and the blue ones make him run faster. I should add this to the submission text >_>

Looks good. I just have one question: The boss where you fight the skeleton that gradually gets bigger - why didn't you defeat him close to the door so you didn't have to walk as far?
Nay.The golden way to defeat him is to glitch Kuros slightly out of the screen to the left, otherwise the flea/skeleton hits you several times. Idling far to the left was almost 4 seconds faster.

Yep, I have, except for in level 4, though... I was not really aware of it back then, but... oh well. I try to take as many gems as possible with the dagger, but some have to be taken with the body, since the dagger is too far away to take the gems/waiting would take too long time. One problem, however, is that I know of improvements in many of the early stages (Like the 2-gems-with-dagger-one-with-body-one), but... I will still submit this one, and later on redo the entire run, after finishing up a few other projects (Hex-editing is, as you might know, impossible). I feel that this run is looking good enough right now. Redoing this will be my 3rd or 4th "primary run" on the list. Also anyone wanting to redo the re-use levels run, feel free to ask me for help and/or advice as for the improvements on the earlier levels. And, I feel that W&W is a game that's better if run by 2 or more authors (Due to the randomness), so I will make noise before I start my re-run and hope for help/volunteers. I'll try to finish this run tonight. I get off work in about 5 hours, and get home and ready to TAS in about 7, so the run should be done within the next 14-or-so-hours. Wish me luck.

Haha. That pretty much is my story as well. My brother showed me a SMB3-run, found Arc's site, and yep.

Actually... on some bosses, it won't matter, because the farther to the left you are keeping the battle, the faster you kill him, and the longer you have to run, and the time comes out even with keeping the battle late and far to the right. Regarding the spider boss, getting knocked down was essential to delay the actual invisibility time for Kuros. UPDATE: I redid Castle Exterior, because I found out, the hard way, that if you pick up two gems on one frame, the game only counts one. With this in mind, I redid the bonus room in CE, and left the level around 90 frames faster. I admit that I haven't been moving on as fast as I should lately, and this huge level will take a lot of time due to massive testing, but I will try to work faster. Also, this will probably not obsolete both runs. Peace. EDIT2: I finished the huge level last night. Two more bosses and the last level to go. I won't release more WIPs from this point. This last level looked stupid but can hardly be done better, and the next one will probably look even worse. Gained around 12-or-so-seconds on this level, many of them by skipping the "Jump-to-get-gems-out-of-thin-air".

I have some problems with how you just leaves one squirrel to stand still when the other one is leaping for the door. If you can, do something (funny) with him instead. Other than that, I was greatly amused by the death-abuse. I haven't watched the other video in ages though. Yes-vote. EDIT: Wait, I didn't watch this too well during my first watch. You do NOT have to play the last bonus game, so you can end your input almost 2 seconds faster, after pressing away the stats-screen after the last boss. This will make the avi longer, but the input shorter. Multiple escapes don't beautify an address.]

What the... That was a new one. Sigh, it will be a bitch to use that one, since it cuts off a lot of gem-hunting. Should be useful though. Nice find. Edit: Using it in level 3 saved 28 frames, HOWEVER, those might be lost during the re-run of level 4 which I am about to start today, so... well, we'll see if it will be in the next WIP or not. However, this makes up new possibilities for other levels, of course. Edit2: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/288005138/02%20-%20Level%204%20re-done.fcm. Level 4 came out 119 frames faster than last time, so this WIP is almost 150 frames faster than the last one.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1548045342/01%20-%20Level%204%20done.fcm Take a look at level 4 of this WIP, it shows how the gem-rooms are being tackled. Waiting for the dagger to return just takes too long time for it to be constantly used. Also, I dunno if there is a list of tricks. I haven't seen one. I only know some minor tricks like instant turning, faster falling and falling of ledges while crouching, among the not-so-obvious ones.

It is altered by like, which frame you hit it on, which buttons you hold while hitting it, which buttons you held before hitting it etc., so basically try to manipulate input to try to get the items you want. A lot harder to do on console, of course >_> Acorns and candles also seem to have a pre-set set of items, so from certain acorns, you can only get like a 1-gem.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1048104378/WORKING%20ON.fcm 5 frames faster than the previous WIP up until this point. However, it has more HP :( The trick can be seen in level 2, after getting the red key, I use Potion Of Levitation for one frame, and then press Down on the next frame. This helps Kuros gain maximum falling speed instantly. However, it only seem to be faster if one is not moving "forward", since it makes Kuros land faster, and therefore makes him lose horizontal movement. Edit: Amusingly enough, but no the least surprising, the few frames gained in level 2 was lost in level 3 due to the randomness in this horrible game, so the WIP I'll be working on from this point is the one in the post from several weeks ago. Well it might be used later on. Latest WIP then... http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/506323296/Level3%20Done%20again.fcm

Most likely not, since people seem to find the game repetive and boring. Also I think they are some kind of futuristic garden robots... so R2-D2 sounds very likely.

The last WIP before I start my vacation. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1630904865/W%26W%20DA%20Level%203%20again.fcm EDIT and UPDATE: I found a new trick for falling faster (Crossing fingers that it won't make Kuros dizzy upon landing), so I might have to redo level 2... and if not, at least level 3 has to be updated, found an improvement to that one. Hopefully, the trick works in level 2 and 3.

Cancelled due to, like, 9 votes in a whole month, and rather negative feedback on the game.
