Well, I found a video that demonstrates SpongeBob being sent very high. However, the battle doesn't end. I think it's only a certain time or number of the final boss' hit points that allows the battle to end. In the video, he shoots very high at 2:17 and 5:50 and jumps on top of Robot SpongeBob's head at 7:22. I also searched YouTube and found a Sand Castle glitch in Goo Lagoon. This could be useful for skipping the sand castle and moving on to the Goo Lagoon Sea Caves, if the game allows it. I will start working on this game again as soon as I get a new computer. Also, someone at SDA posted in the BfBB topic that he completed the game in 2:30 by using a "new glitch". It sure sounds promising to me.

This is so boring. I don't even get why the other submissions for this game were accepted in the first place. Voting NO.
Since this is a sizable improvement to a very short published run, it will probably be accepted no matter how entertaining it is.

Same here. I'm looking forward to the submission text, too, whenever he adds it. EDIT: Very entertaining and fast-paced movie. I can tell this took some planning and hard work. Good job, voting yes!

I also agree. If it was a shorter movie with the same entertainment level, I might vote yes, but the movie is almost 10 minutes long and it is slow-paced and repetitive. Voting Meh.

I'll wait for an encode, since this sounds like an interesting run.

Very nice job! I enjoyed the new route and the comments in the video (which I think should be included in the encode, like in the current SMB3 any%). Voting Yes.

An entertaining and super-fast TAS of a really weird game. Good job, NitroGenesis. Yes vote.

The author's username sounds a little too similar to the username of the author of the UMK3 run that was just submitted. Was it really necessary to make a new account to submit another movie? Anyway, I haven't watched the run yet, but I will when someone puts up an encode.

I think he was trying to manipulate an enemy in Kelpazoic Jungle earlier but wasn't able to. Maybe with all the frames we've saved, he can manipulate the enemy now (just an idea, he didn't give any more information on this enemy or what he needs to manipulate). I'll be ready to splice in The Carnival when jlun2 finishes Kelpazoic Jungle. NitroGenesis, should I do To The Carnival (before The Carnival) and To Jellyfish Fields (after The Carnival)? If so, I can start working on that tomorrow (from a savestate). EDIT: I sent him a PM yesterday asking the same question but he still hasn't responded.

Great job improving the published movie by over half a minute! I don't think the pause trick detracts from the entertainment that much, since it's only used in Worlds 1 and 4, and the viewers can still hear the music in the other 3 worlds. Yes vote.

Wow! Very nice improvement! I was surprised to see the part where they used death to save time. And I noticed the jumping syncing with the music. Easy yes vote.

I thought it was plenty entertaining (then again, I never watched the currently published TAS). Congratulations on obsoleting the oldest currently published movie! Obvious Yes vote! I applaud you for your dedication to finishing this great run.

This page shows the current compatibility of this game with Dolphin and lists some minor graphical and audio problems. According to the page, the game runs almost perfectly in recent versions of Dolphin, so you or anyone else who wants to run it can feel free to do so.

I didn't modify NitroGenesis' input at all, but since I don't know how to splice or hex or anything like that, I just copied all of NitroGenesis' input into a new movie. That might explain my wording in saying "redoing" or "revising". EDIT: Just downloaded TAS Movie Editor, so now I don't have to hand-copy every frame of input to a new movie.

I don't think that will be published. It appears to start from a savestate. ;)

ReneBalow's TAS was pretty cool, but I still think Wak017 should submit the TAS he's been working on (first GameCube submission!).

Well, I'm on vacation for another week and a half, but my laptop just died (so I have no computer). If jlun2 finishes Kelpazoic Jungle in the next few days and incorporates the improvements he made, I will be able to do The Carnival (whenever I can).

I liked it, but after reading some of the comments by experienced members, I agree that this isn't different enough from the published 0 star SM64 run to deserve publication. Voting No, sorry guys.

Looks great! You should put that fight in the final product. I'm looking forward to the finished movie!
