For the benefit of those not familiar with the mechanics of this game, what are you doing to seemingly win in one attack every time?
He is using what is a called a Destroy move that let's you instantly win the round if it connects. The kicker is though if it's blocked or you get hit out of the attack. You revoke your power bar for the remainder of the round. So it's pretty much a last ditch effort move in a real time fight.

If toad no longer gets a speed boost from carrying items, why do you spend so much time grabbing and carrying things? I do like that reset abuse to get the warp to world five. Edit: I suppose I should be specific. In 1-1 you briefly carry the enemy before you go through the bottom of the stage, in 1-3 you carry the enemy through most of the stage, and in ... I think its 5-2 you carry that beetle thing until you start climbing vines. Does this provide some other benefit without the speed boost, or are you just carrying them because it doesn't slow you down and you can or something like that?
He said that the Super Mario Advance version, Toad doesn't get a speed boost. This is the Super Mario All-Stars version where he still has it.

You sped through like the levels pretty fast, and made quick work of the boss. It was entertaining overall. Yes Vote.

Demul has been putting some serious work in still with Atomiswave/Naomi and Naomi 2/ Dreamcast emulation it seems. The latest build from their site certainly has most titles quite playable and very little graphical defects.

Having watched this multiple times to check it for sync. I can say I did enjoy the infinites and glitches of this. It's a yes vote from me. Glad you can finish this with how horrendous neogeo is for movie recording/sync for FBA.

Sorry but I vote meh. It was entertaining for quite a bit, and the glitches are nice. It got old though quick, when Akuma/Gouki took over most of the run.

You can't cancel moves in SF2. You have to rely on startup frames being less than whatever the hitstun is. That's why, even in Super Turbo, just about the most complex a combo got was chaining lights and jump ins.
Actually you can cancel special moves from medium attacks and heavy attacks in Champion Edition/Hyper Fighting. It's just done differently then Super Street Fighter II and Beyond. If you input your move during the ending of the impact frames. A special move will be able to come out. I've been able to combo specials from cr. mp and st. mp attacks consistently with Boxer.

It always nice to watch some RTS TASes. The management skills, the mockery of the computer opponent, the destruction from the well planned raids, and winning battles with some units that might not win in regular play make it very entertaining. Yes vote.

Nobody's going to lock you out. Some libretro cores may be solid, some may not be. I expect some people will try really hard to tas the arcade systems with it. They may be warranted for tasworthiness on an individual basis, but don't expect anyone to fix cores which have sync problems.
Oh okay, Thank you for answering.

I apologize for asking somewhat of an obvious question but will we be able to record movies with the libretro cores in the future or will the recording movie option be programmed soon to be locked out when one is selected?

Really fast movie. A lot of glitches and skips seen. The Puppy Love levels make this TAS look a lot longer than most of the other levels fast finishes. It's a still a yes vote from me though, I was entertained.

Check and see what's out there. Here's a Dudley run specifically, which (eyeballing) is both faster (differen game edition, so more fights and bonus stages) and uses a lot more impressive combos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4LAWthEZSY
That's Third Strike. Which has lot of changes to the game system then what New Generation and 2nd Impact are like. Notably reduced hitstun of attacks as well as less air normal attacks and grounded normal attacks in a stun combo. Here is a TAS of New Generation Dudley Link to video

Very nice TAS. Champion Edition Guile, M. Bison(Dictator), Balrog(Boxer) have some interesting things they can combo from or into that their SSF2T and even Hyper Fighting versions cannot.

Pretty boring movie, things are just too slow paced. I vote no for entertainment. The game's animation attempting to play like out more like a TV show is pretty cool though given the SNES' limited memory storage.

There seems to be 4 votes, an encode but no comments. If you may not know, this is a playaround movie. Not a time attack movie. So if you find it entertaining or not, feel free to let the author know now, if you were waiting for some sort of expert to say it's slow or not before to decide. As for me I liked it. It's a yes vote from me.

@cooljay: is bizhawk showing it's a good dump in the bottom left corner 'dump status report?' if its not a good dump, then thats the end of the story, although i'd appreciate it if you'd PM me with info on how you dumped that disc.
It just shows the question mark icon in the bottom left corner. If that means it's a bad dump then I wouldn't go any further with this yeah. As for the dump it's just one I found over the internet.
