Well... I keep forgetting that the guideline even exists. I'm for removing it.

This TAS is clearly awesome enough to actually be uploaded onto YouTube via dial-up. YouTube link here This is also awesome enough to get a lossless encode, unlike Grunt's. Collection Download

Hell yes this. If not this, then... well, I shall be giving it Notable status whatsoever... but it'd be nonsense for it not to be starred!

That was awesome, the Tsutaaja made me laugh my head off for completely inappropriate lessons, too (Talk with me in private if you really want to know). Yes voted, and encoding losslessly and awesomer than Grunt... because I'm a massive egotist.

What the... this is an emulation error? See my reaction on the Umbreon's face. Not the Flygon's.

What the heck is causing these pauses... I wish I didn't delete my raw dump. I'll make a quickie to see if these issues exist in the raw dump, and hope it's not a deldup issue. IMPORTANT EDIT! VISUAL BOY ADVANCES DUMPING IS INDEED BROKEN! I've just tested a raw AVI myself with the frame counter dumped along... and the symptoms described exist. What, the, hell. Good thing the number 5 avatar is called punish because that's what it's set to.

I am massively confused. I have no idea what could possibly account for the time difference. It's official, I am set out flabbergasted... the emulator dumps at 60fps, and the encode itself runs at 60fps. So unless the emulator and website calculate the movie at the wrong frame rate... or the players we are using are going at the wrong frame rate, I am stumped.

Please add your logos into the Encoder Logos page! It isn't required as of yet, but it's extremely helpful in documenting the history of TASVideos's logos, as well as being a reference point for up and coming encoders wanting to find inspiration for their own logos. If you lack editor powers, you can always send a PM to your local friendly neighbourhood adelikat or Grunt (Or catch them in the IRC channel). What motivated me to make this topic? Basically, my frustration at the under-appreciation of this page.

klmz, it syncs correctly, it's the correct submission. It's undeniable that this is the correct input file.

I don't believe The Chessmaster was accepted, but, yeah, I agree. It deserves to be in the delight.

On a semi-related subject, perhaps a tutorial video for video encoding could be made? Yes, it somewhat humorously redundant, but it's easier to explain a visual process via a video than a text based guide... that, and the two guides could easily compliment each other.

Yes voted and encoding in SD... though, the above post might have put a dent in the encode. Edit: Due to post below, processing off-holded.

While I'd suggest Somari for the delight, I feel that it'd be technically unethical due to the fact that I had a part in making the run... that, and people really do seem split on if the movie is worth anything or not... though, a majority of the haters seemed to dislike it due to game choice more than anything. So... yeah. Also, looking through some of my posts... bleh, I really didn't know how to post without looking like an idiot. Edit: More tooting my own horn, but I am pretty sure Thomas the Tank Engine counts as an April Fools submission enough to hit the list... still semi-surprised no one has considered pointing out to me where I ripped the submission text from.

Encoded in HD because my Mother and I are large Garfield fans... seriously, even her Morris Mini Moke is pimped out Garfield style (80s Garfield... mainly because it was pimped out in the 80s). Playlist Part 1 Part 2

Thank you for making a submission text long enough to actually break the TASVideos database enough to delete new topics.

We've actually had a Steam group for a while now, but I've kept it under wraps because... I'm that lazy. Anyway, this topic exists to advertise it and to make it fairly obvious that we do have a group. Either way, you can find the group here. Joining permissions are set to public at the moment, but will be set to private the moment we get spambots, of course. It's also worth noting that any staff members that join the group will be given an Officer ranking because... well, it's common sense. Anyway, that's all this topic here really is for, the only other thing to note is that I should get a new icon made at some point.

I was pretty bad at this game in my childhood... glad to see what happens when it is actually beaten. Archive collection Archive download YouTube (HD) Dailymotion A note to publishers, do not publish this encode... this game has a credits sequence that can only be activated by completing the game and I didn't realize this, because I am lazy, you'll have to reencode this yourself. For those looking for a challenge, make a lossless video stream smaller than 1.5 megabytes. I did.

Is there any reason you TASed this with the FM mode turned off? I've run a test and have found that this game actually supports FM audio... unfortunately it desyncs if I turn it off. Refusing to encode on the grounds that it doesn't use the FM audio mode (Which incidentally, sounds better), despite precedent protesting otherwise.

Since no one else seems to be picking up on it, I'll encode this in SD losslessly.
