There are no relics for Richter and Maria.

She drops another item instead, and I don't think that's how bosses are defined in this game. Most people probably can agree that Richter is a boss even if he doesn't drop anything. ([2661] PSX Castlevania: Symphony of the Night "all relics & bosses" by ForgoneMoose in 36:58.32) It's unnecessary to question whether she is a boss.

I’ll throw in my two cents: 1. While the process of getting to the Maria vs Maria fight is indeed not visually entertaining, its novelty itself adds to the entertainment value of the run. 2. Fighting bosses as Richter/Maria offers absolutely nothing other than an HP Max Up after each fight and the game itself does not have a definition of “all” bosses whatsoever (unlike in [3126] GBA Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance "Maxim, all bosses" by gstick in 05:47.68). In other words, the very idea of “all bosses” is subjective to a certain extent and the least subjective way to define the goal is to fight as many bosses as one can by setting their defeat flags.

What are the main differences between this run and Jont's run?

Glad to see these glitches in action. YES vote. It would be nice to see an "all stages" run where the OoB glitches aren't used though.

Easy Yes vote. It would be great if you make a Maria all bosses run one day.

1. I did find this movie entertaining. Do I really need to explain this for a Pokemon glitchless run? :P 2. I think this movie is different from the Yellow publication. The fact that R/B is on Gameboy while international Yellow releases are on Gameboy Color makes these two movies visually different. Then there are the gameplay differences explained earlier by others.

Musical coins are part of the main game mode. Saying they deserve a separate category is like saying different collectibles in Yoshi's Island each deserves their own category. I'm not against publishing this run for now, since getting all chests does grant you a notification as shown at the end of the movie. However, a future 100% run should obsolete this run when that happens.

It's a good watch. Yes vote for entertainment. Known improvements aside, this goal choice is rather arbitrary since it neither completes the game ASAP nor achieves 100% completion. If you were to redo the run, I suggest doing an actual 100% run with all music note coins collected.

https://youtu.be/VXRG9oi-as8?t=981 Wouldn't this strat be faster for N5 Grey? https://youtu.be/5LPSL20INnM?t=26 The same goes for this strat for S3.

Interesting to see a Crystal run using the same Pokemon for battle as the HGSS runs do. Would Graveler or any other legendaries still be the best choice for G/S since you don't need to go to Burned Tower and fight the rival?

Rumor has it that "someone" came across this game earlier this year and decided to skip it because it's not official. YES vote for entertainment. In the third stage, did you try taking the shortcut via the upward moving platform instead?

I think it's better to publish this as 100% and obsolete the current any% run because having more contents after the story mode doesn't hurt.

The darkness glitch doesn't really bother me, but I think you should either use it in all possible spots or not use it at all in order to minimize arbitrariness.

The judgement is referring to that old submission you linked, because that is what the submission text was comparing to. Edit: words.
Accepting into Moons as an improvement over the previous movie.
Even then, this makes it sound like an improvement over a previously published movie. Yes, it seems to be referring to that submission, but the wording of the judgement text is weird indeed.

It's not a true all levels run unless you complete all levels from Contra and Super C as well. Glad to see this finally being done. YES vote.

That seems to be a WIP without the challenge mode stages.

from what I understand, NG+ for this game is really the default play for this game. because of the way the game was released, the program would open up straight into the game while ignoring the title screen and file select. this happens when you first download the game.
That doesn't make it the default play though. As mentioned, this allows you to skip the "prequel" of the story. http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#NonOfficialGamesHacksHomebrewsEtcAndPrototypes
demo or beta versions of in-development games are not allowed.
I'll leave this link here as well just in case someone wanna argue this is not a demo: http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1sqn3p9 YES vote for entertainment. Regardless of whether this movie will be accepted, I look forward to a movie of the full game once it comes out.

IMHO, glitchless runs of Tetris games with no hard drop function are not very entertaining in general, and this run is no exception. Voting NO, sorry.

The publication page has the "Corrupts save data" tag, but I don't think this run abuses SRAM corruption in any way.

Isn't this more similar to the case of GBC? For example, the two currently published SMBDX movies use different pallet options. [2452] GBC Super Mario Bros. Deluxe "You vs. Boo" by got4n & negative seven in 04:54.24 [2810] GBC Super Mario Bros. Deluxe "warps" by negative seven in 04:55.99

When I was trying to watch [3465] GBA Donkey Kong Country "101%" by Avanor_ in 1:25:57.64 some time ago, I felt it looked so light that it hurts the experience. GBA games are known for having light pallets in general since the original model doesn't have backlit. There are options to change the pallet of GBA games in newer Bizhawk versions. Would it be better if non-default options are used so that the encode resembles what's shown on an actual GBA a little more? Here are some examples. Vivid: Bizhawk GBA: Vivid: Bizhawk GBA: Vivid is not a bad choice for all games though. For example, Castlevania: Circle of the Moon was known for not adjusting to the lack of backlit and therefore looking too dark on the original GBA models.
