The european rom has desynced less for me than the american rom. So it might have been me screwing around with something that caused the desync. Perhaps loading wrong save state or what ever?

I actually remember this kind of thing from MM1 when I was a kid. We some times managed to shoot at bosses before the battle started. Can't recall if I ever hit a boss though. I think the shoot mostly disappeared into the wall or something. Funny that it has been mapped.

Well.. The thing still is that I only encountered the sound bug once. So I still think you could work around it. I still don't know what triggers it. But I really beleive it's manipulatible.

Perhaps not. But I still think you should try to record atleast the last mission Aqfaq. As perfect as you can. Atleast it would be good to set some kind of standard. 1. Build windtrap 2. Refinery 3. Vehicle factory 4. Build 3-4 harvesters 5. Get some defence 6. Get a palace 7. Produce MCV 8. Produce some rocket launchers. 9. Get into fight. 10. Make a new construction yard at enemy terretory. 11. Get your new command center heavily defended. 12. Place rocket turrets where old enemy buildings were.

Oooops! Forgot to check for desyncs. But atleast the sound seems OK through the entire movie right? =D I ran it with frame skip 8 so.. :) I suppose we just need to check from time to time if the sound goes "Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" again. Also check for desyncs. Weird though. It didn't desync first time I made a long movie out of it.

Works fine in mplayer (linux). Ok.. I'll try to describe some. I think it's gemini man's level (where you can shoot eggs so that fishes spawns). He uses rush jet to get him self in place. Then he get's hit by an enemy and zips right through eggs and a wall (partially the floor).

Thats funny finalfighter! But it didn't really look like it could save alot of time in those sequences compared to the regular slide. Or am I very wrong about that? But perhaps there are other places where it could be a bigger time saver?

Well.. Those "movies" are just a file which contains key presses and timings. Thats why they are soo small. And thats why some of them gets produced to AVI later on. :)

I really liked the full movie. And the pro levels just rocked. A YES vote on the full movie of course. If someone submits the pro levels I think those should get accepted as well.

Woulden't that just call a desync? Unless it's played from state maybe?

Perhaps it would help to un pause the emulator? Try the ESC button. If that doesn't help, try to get version 9f which is the latest one.

Nitsuja - Since more buttons can be pressed for each frame I suggest an added option in the emulator. This should probably go in the emulator thread, but since we already went off topic I felt like writing it here. The option should be something like a layout of buttons above or below the screen in some way. A dialogue saying "Press these buttons for the next frame" And you get to check what buttons you want to press/hold for next frame. When the buttons you want are checked you could click on the button "Advance to next frame" or "Advance x frames with this config". Also you would have to do this for the analogue stick but perhaps with a diffrent kind of interface. I'm not sure how the stick works but for example, have a box that can variate from x -128 - x+128 and another box with y -128 - y+128. So that you can set exact values etc. This is just something. If you want to do it diffrently or add functions, that'll be up to you. Cheers! :)

I agree to use the cheat code in order to start the second round faster. It's rather pointless to play the first half of the game. I do not want this as a general rule though, that it's allowed to use cheat codes. But in this perticular case I would be fine. Otherwise someone would have to use frame skip alot in order to see the proper ending, and thus kind of spoil the rest of the gameplay. To clearify above text: Use cheatcode to start at last boss (or second half of the game if possible)

Oh? So there won't be a problem with desyncs despite what plugins I would use?

Nitsuja! Will you be coding some sort of function like in Snes9x, that fixes all settings automaticly when loading a movie? Or would people have to make a very detailed list of what plugins and settings were used?

Wrestling games was not that good to watch really. :) I made Royal Rumble for SNES as my first submission. Took only a couple of minutes. :) It's not fun to watch unless you are really into these kinds of games.
