I don't have CPU>Play movie/Resume record from savestate so I can't play the movies. I downloaded Gens 2.11. Help!

You can only view/record movies with the modded emulator. Version 2.11 (official) won't support movies because the author is reluctant to add movie playing/recording to it. So just get Gens movie 9e from the sticky.

OK, I got the gens movie player. Now when I go and try to watch them, all I get is a blank black screen. Reason why the video won't play. It's the Streets of Rage 3 single player vid.

Perhaps it would help to un pause the emulator? Try the ESC button. If that doesn't help, try to get version 9f which is the latest one.

Did you load the proper ROM before selecting CPU/Play Movie?

It would be a black screen if he didn't load any ROM at all, that's what I meant.

I got it figured out. Thanx for the help. I didn't know you needed to actually have the rom to play the movie >_> . Oops on my part >_> . I'm somewhat new to the rom thing, so thanx again for the help. I'm ganna watch it now.

Well.. Those "movies" are just a file which contains key presses and timings. Thats why they are soo small. And thats why some of them gets produced to AVI later on. :)
