Around 3 or 4 years ago there was a lot of chatter about a potential TAS of this game, with Ogre and Nahoc doing some good work. That being said, is anyone trying to actively create a Carrie TAS now? I know the camera can complicate things, but a lot of interesting new exploits are being discovered which could make for a very entertaining final product. I've toyed with the idea myself, but I am curious what the community thinks about this.

After going through the normal process of learning how to TAS (doing 8 and 16-bit platformers), I have decided to be adventurous and try a game that takes place in a 3d environment. The game in question is Castlevania for the N64, and for some reason, I can't get the player character (Carrie, in this case) to move around using Tasstudio. I have been able to navigate menus and can get her to jump and use her weapon (the A and B buttons), but can't get her to move using the UDLR inputs. Any advice or words of wisdom to help a newbie TASer out in his first attempt at a 3d game?
