the content of this video shows the possibility of having a glitched category for round 2, since you can activate national dex ruby sapphire and elite4 round2 without actually doing the requirements, you could also get early mewtwo to stomp fights, this way you skip sevii islands rocket quest ruby sapphire and collecting all 60 pokemon

knuckles can dig both invencibility AND speed shoes... but there's no diggable terrain in emerald coast act1 probably because it wasn't planned... i also tried alternating A and B which makes knuckles hover but also cuts his horizontal speed which is useless unless you want to just avoid falling

ex groove allows for different combos that can stun later so i can do more hits before stunning and also allows for other combo enders, both runs are still verification movie based so i figured "why not?"

My Amy Story TAS hasn't been worked on since 2021, but I'm sure I'll get around to it someday... I have TAS IL record in all 3 of her stages if you want to check out the IL TASes.
Regarding Knuckles: I don't really know much about his specific toolkit, but it looks pretty limited. He doesn't really have any actions that build speed, so you'd be stuck using geometry and unique circumstance to capture or maintain speed. His punch is slow, his jump is slow, his roll is mediocre, and his glide feels limited. On the other hand, I'm not sure that anyone has extensively looked into TAS-only exploits with Knuckles. He might have undiscovered tech.
Not sure about digging up speedshoes, etc. Not my area of expertise.

hi i cant enter sonic adventure discord, for no good reason my phone doesn't verify, if someone can help me with that, thanks in advance!
i have a few questions:
does knuckle dig speed shoes in action stages? if so, is it all or only some?
does he have speed or gaining height glitches or something that enables to him gather speed somehow? any glitch that disables killzones?
i was considering testing the knuckles in emerald coast completion challenge without cheats but it seems pretty clear to me you would need some kind of setup in act 1 to reach the act's end with extra height or speed that would allow him to avoid the killzone?
also any news on AMY TAS? Gamma or BIG instead?

this is auchgard LOTAD, his comments:

I had some interest in doing an any% glitchless LOTAD but just never got around to it. also started on a second LOTAD of any% but dropped it due to life heating up

The Glitchless run is a lot longer because of normal weapons being weaker.

i have no idea if i'm going faster by choosing K groove, using the defensive strats, or using the aggressive strats, all that is known is that PARRY and JD adds points, going faster adds points, bigger combos add more points, but if the time spent in one activity or the other is better, i have no idea, everything indicates that combos and parry are better to get points, as this is the first time the 9999 points were recorded, but i don't know if i should keep parrying more or ending the rounds faster.

no idea at all, nobody has gone for SCORE and time both at the same time, it's not known how fast you can achieve a HIGH SCORE, even the groove selection could be argued it could be better depending on how you want to build the score, K is very defensive and i could have used both A and P groove for easier and faster 1 combo kills, but i'm not sure that's faster than K groove multiple counters
and then super or combo
best example of fast round is 14:07 raiden, but you can see the gauge is already a bit filled

i wanted to show off interactions besides just doing more score, in this case how the super has so little invencibility it trades with a kick
at the end of the day the score has a limit, so we were gonna get there anyway, in hindsight i believe another groove might be faster as well for getting max score, probably A groove but i'm not 100% sure of that, i would also lose access to misogi super and shun goku satsu if i went the faster route and wouldn't have JD or Parry if i didnt at least pick an Ex Groove if not P or K groove

The current best strategy for Radiant Emerald was just discovered so the Super Sonic route for Radiant Emerald was the best available when i did the TAS, now that i TASed any% i found a new one but i want to keep super sonic strat for more character variety between TASes, i will not redo this TAS just to insert another strategy that removes Super Sonic and character variety. The 100% TAS has 3 chars and the Any% has 2 chars which are not the same as 100%, so both runs show off 5 characters in general!
Maybe glitchless TAS could use Sonic and Metal Sonic as well... but i'm not doing that.
