I'll agree that backtracking isn't very fun to watch. I'm all for Up+A.

Is there an emulator where it's safe to fast-forward movies without risking a desync? Because then the leveling in FF2 could be done in the very beginning and be done with it, and that part could be sped through by the watcher. The downside is that it would probably not be put into avi.

I remember a program where you could change just about everything on existing monsters. You could also change your own weapons, like changing the plasma gun shots into BFG shots :o Can't remember what it was called though. edit: Found it. It's called "dehacked" and can be found on planetdoom.com. The downside is that it doesn't seem to work on jdoom.exe, just the normal ones. I'm also not sure, but I think it works only up to version 1.666 of doom.

I just find it a bit ridiculous that an NES emulator could require more than 200MHz, and even run like that on 1800+ my MHz. I usually just start the game, start the movie, then shrink the window to a really tiny size, then re-expand it to a reasonable size that I don't think will cause a massive amount of freezing and "speed adjusting."

Yeah, not such a bad run for a game like this. Personally though, I thought it would have been more interesting if the boss fights played out.

Wasn't there a version changer for warcraft 3 so you could quickly switch between versions to see replays?

Rome: Total War would be neat if a battle was fought once in a while rather than having automatic every time.

I gotta say, any RTS wouldn't make a great timeattack.

http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/fight1.html I had to download #1 in avi, but the other 8 are flash. I'm sure many of you have seen these, but they are still great.

My eyes hurt.
ProtoWall.sys is not loaded. Install the driver then reload this application.
When I run the driver installer it says that it's already installed, and I tried reinstalling it again with a force install. :( Also does it in 2.0.

Just because it had a lot of work put in to it isn't a good reason to save it and put it on display. But of course, in this case, that site was just so ridiculous that it was more funny than offensive.

pretty off-topic, but what city do you live in, 12Motion? I'm in Chanhassen, which a little south of the Twin Cities.

I don't mind seeing glitching to beat a game faster usually, but in this game I think it's pretty boring to rewatch the first few levels over again, so I liked this movie much more.

I was just thinking of bramble on a merc for a summoning necro. Skeletons take a lot of hits.

Double Dragon 3 actually has a couple of "team moves". One where you jumpkick your partner and he catches you and throws you back at the enemy. Another where you both jump next to each other and do the cyclone kick for a super cyclone kick. Double range and damage I believe.

I don't know anything about this game or this run but if it is like the other Castlevania games then I wouldn't want to see constant jumping, especially if it only saves a couple of seconds. If it saves twenty seconds then that's a different story. But I still wouldn't watch it.
Meh, I'd find a ton of jumping to be more entertaining than only jumping when it's needed. Especially when it's faster. Don't know if you watched the Gremlins 2 run, but that movie looked like it wouldn't have been nearly as fun to watch if it didn't do that jumping.

Remember the original Super Contra run which used constant tubo (even when nothing was on the screen) to save a few seconds in the overall run? Yes, it was faster, but it was unwatchable.
I thought the one currently on the site was the fastest. I don't see how the constant turbo fire one would be faster.
