Most suckiest game I have ever played in my life. In fact I played the gameboy version which is much more painful 'cause of the higher amount of enemies. http://youtube.com/watch?v=GAaOcT3da5A Found it somewhat interesting. Seeing it beaten etc... PS: Oh and sorry for the bump.

Searching led to this: After more searching I got these files: Umm what to do now? Remember I'm a 16 year old German, not an experienced coder.

Much better than your first run. Only the length of the game makes it a bit boring overall, but it's still worth watching. Yes.

I know it's a tool for labeling selected ROMs. Asking questions about it twice in IRC didn't help me since no-one bothered explaining it to me, so I'm starting this topic. Is it legal? Where to find it? How to use it? Thanks.

You could try to search for "lady sia (u)" "lady sia (u).zip" "lady sia (u).gba" "lady sia (u) [!]" "lady sia (j)" [...] in google with patience and download everything you can get. Hopefully you can find it this way. Otherwise you should use the (E) ROM. But
Europe roms always screw up my computer.
How does it srew up? Did you set your VBA to PAL? ... Maybe you should consider trying different VBA versions.

The number 1000 makes the impression a new generation has begun... What will be the 1001th movie? =)

I got the same annoying problem everytime I wanted to submit something. So I filled my texts with tons of %%%'s till the preview was what I wanted it to be like. Now I know it's a problem with the browser...

Questions: Could someone tell more about Dynablade's two switches and the abilities in MWW? I saw in some videos that it's possible to switch between abilities sometimes. How and when? Remember, I'm not familiar with the game. I would be unable to do 100% unless there are some good route plannings etc.

Welcome yukihis.
One question though, shouldn't Spring Breeze be skipped in an any% run?
If MWW was a real final mode, then yes. But it's just like a 'normal mode aside from other ones' to me. And afterwards, there's still arena to do. Surprisingly, I consider Nitsuja's way to TAS the game the best. 100% would include beating the arena which would be a lousy ending to the movie IMO. any% till MWW is therefore the way to go. (feel free to argue about this more, it's not fully decided yet!)
MUGG, if it saves time I'd recommend redoing to use that extended jump thingie.
I played on the U ROM first. I was lucky and manipulated the first mini-boss to jump and throw 3 bombs (which is the fastest way to progress). But when I heard the J ROM is recommended, I couldn't get him to do the same. Later, I tried the TAS Editor by Maximus (thanks a lot), to copy and paste button presses and it worked out well. Anyways, it's a matter of only 10 frames. As for Gourmet Race, I beat the 1# Round: 19:95 =D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3yNwl4qPBU

-The dive kick seems to be the fastest way to move, but each kick has around 6 frames of startup lag. If used at a height where it won't be cut short and if it doesn't connect with any enemies, it seems to break even, though.
I just wanted to point out that this kick can be hold till one reaches the ground.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/614663951/kss-jap-mugg-tas.smv http://youtube.com/watch?v=Pk9ucbr0xoA (Improved WIP, Spring Breeze done) Japanese ROM required! Thanks to gocha, for posting SMNS' Testrun. Also thanks to the others for their advice. Notes: - ~160 frames faster than SMNS' run. - I did not use the trick ElectroSpecter mentoined to save momentum while jumping (but I will in the next modes). - Fighting the first mini-boss is ~30 frames faster than flying across him. - I flew a loop before entering the door to DeDeDe, so I can get onto my Wheelie helper midair (I wonder how that's possible). Feel free to ask, if you think you've seen a flaw This mode was rather a welcome-mode for me. I never played this game before (I don't even own a SNES), but I like it so far. The next mode is Gourmet Race. Best times I found: Round #1: 20.29 Round #2: 30.27 Round #3: 6.92

Melee had many progamer techniques like L-cancel, pivot, SDI, Wavedash etc. At the moment, it looks like nothing of this will be in Brawl. If you're interested in these progaming techniques (if you don't know what they are at all) I recommend watching this video series: Advanced how to play by WAK

Don't know =O I don't have plans how to get all abilities in that one mode, and how to press two switches in the other one. Personally, I'd rather aim for any% the way Nitsuja did it, skipping arena.

What a shame the game doesn't offer anything to the progamers like in Melee.

I'd still like to discuss how my aims should be. any% is a problem because there are several individual modes. 100% is a problem because it requires one to cancel MilkyWayWishes' ending in order to play the arena. Arena's ending sucks. My thought was: Every mode's ending should run till the end. Your thoughts will be appreciated.
Apparently, the ingame timer doesn't run if the boss's HP Meter isn't loaded. [...]
I would aim for real time instead of ingame time. My current progress: Spring Breeze Boss 2. I should finish this mode within a week.

I don't like the graphics glitches, but I don't think they detract so much that they ruin it completely. Yes Vote, but I don't think it should obsolete the current run.
Same here.

Thanks for the information, gocha. Can you by any chance provide the SMV of that Spring Breeze TAS you posted, too? It would help me at frame precision.

I would say because of the ending, it has the credits on it unlike others...
I noticed some final screens say things like "Next" or "To be continued". Milky Way Wishes says "There's more". Indeed, there's one more mode, the arena as I heard, which is unlocked when all modes are finished. 100% would require beating the arena after MWW, so the ending of that mode would have to be cancelled. The arena's ending seems kinda short and it sucks IMO. So I'm aiming for either any% till Milky Way Wishes or 100% with every ending of every mode being played till the end (though this might be a good solution it may probably also lead to controversial discussions). --- There are some glitches I've seen so far I'm unable to reproduce. For example "flying into walls via helper" or "Jet boosting into walls". Does anyone have a good understanding of these glitches?

Zurreco showed me a couple of Japanese videos a week ago, with new discovered tricks and glitches. If I remember correctly, there was also a Great Cave Offensive 100% TAS. Link

I checked out GameFAQs:
Milky Way Wishes - Beat Great Cave Offensive and Revenge of Meta-Knight
BTW, why is Milkey Way Wishes considered the final mode? If there's nothing that makes MWW the final mode, then every mode should be individually beaten, IMO.

Floogal, no I didn't use Ice but Ninja. Ice can't be considered as one of the fastest strategies anymore, imo.
Though I do not know so much about this game, I know your run can be improved. SMNS's testrun (flv mirror at MediaFire) is shorter than your one.
Ok, thanks. I'll have to start over =O I don't know what has to be played in order to unlock Milkey Way Wishes. But why did Nitsuja play it then? I'm not going for 100%.
