You have to have the permission of the original author of the runs before you can host them. Otherwise, the author can have YouTube remove the video (and in repeated offenses, block YouTube accounts). Honestly, though; why put them up on YouTube? Is it so much of a hassle to come to our site and download the files like everyone else does?
I know some people who are too lazy to download codecs and torrent for that purpose...

the only two ROMs I can find are: * Smurfs, The (E) (M4) (v1.0).gb * Smurfs, The (UE) (M3) (v1.1).gb so it was probably released in Europe first. I found a (UE) (M4) (v1.0) [!] version. That would have been my used ROM but it wasn't obtainable. Its a run on a smurfs game though, not many people are going to care that much about it just on the title. EDIT: It's actually something like this, isn't it? http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5248 The game has something to do with a cartoon character so it is rejected right away without even seeing it... I give some information about the game now if that helps...: In this game which has 12 levels plus 3 boss fights I play on the hardest difficulty. It's a jump 'n run in which you must run to the exit. But there are several enemies and hindrances. When you get hit you fall a bit backwards. So I often turned around in front of enemies to save time instead of waiting for a moment to defeat the enemy or to jump above him.

I couldn't find the [v1.0] version or something. I could just find an european version. Maybe that's why here is such lack of interest... E: I don't know where the game was first released.

I don't know whether I should submit it now in front of such lack of interest... but for now here is my complete run of the game: http://www.oxedion.com/index.php/download/894d41349bb0296da6dd6707da5e6e44

You should read this, too. Because phrases like "you should use Frame advance" won't help you much. http://tasvideos.org/FAQ.html (Movie making) But this is actually if you want to make a movie for this site. Or do you just want to know how to go through walls? Then use Bisqwit's link. and yeah I'm one of the, let's say, wannabe pros of Badenwürttemberg^^

*german* I'm also new to TAS and it's really funny! Yeah you should use frame advance. Set it so that you can press a button to go to the next frame. So you can hold certain buttons and then press the "next frame" button to go on ...

- I'm German. Please be considerate to my language comprehension - I've got now the tas editor and a zip programm to be able to open the editor. But a window popped up and said "it couldn't be initialised". What shoul I do? I'm making a TAS of Mario Land 2 and I'm coming to a point (35.000 frames) where rerecording gets uncomfortable and annoying. Thanks in advance.

ok my fault missed boosts: 1920 ~2120 54.050 ~60.000 x 3 btw you could have done it more entertaining in the hippo level if you would have integrate the water imo (or did you go sure to avoid lag?) isn't it faster to kill the bird with 4x fire and a jump`?

sometimes when I try to get a 1 pixel boost it seems to me as if it was a 2 pixel boost... And I think that it not works on blocks only but also on other solid sprites. Or am I telling bullsh**? EDIT: I got pixel boosts at the roots in the first level of the tree world

-I'm German so don't be rude to my english skills lol- I can vote although I'm a "newbie" O.o? I voted YES. The movie is a bit boring but has some nice parts in it and you can call it "Super Mario Land (Pipe Glitch) / (Glitchy)" (as a specific TAS for the game), can't you? At least I would suggest that.

-I keep writing this sentence everytime I post in an english forum: My english lacks because I'm German, sry- I'm still prefering to have a "pipe glitch" and an any% version of the game. 100% are all levels I think!? I'm making an any% run. Question: What do I have to put in while in a bubble to fly horizontally? EDIT: too late =P EDIT2: I'm now in the space world EDIT ... ehm 3: I've new questions. 1. What does count? The time of the given input or the time till the "THE END" screen is shown? How to find out the time? 2. Is there a programm to put several .vbm's together? Making one single .vbm isn't very comfortable =F

I'm working on a new TAS because my old one sucks. There were too many mistakes in it. I found out that the boost doesn't work everytime so I try to manage to do other actions sometimes instead of just "missing every block" = boosting.

yeah, but it's really entertaining! That's an important point to me! EDIT: Question: is it possible to 1-pixel boost in the hippo level (with the bubble) ?

Wow. The video you posted there is much more impressive than the one I'm working at... I'm unsure whether to go on or not.

- my English may lack because I'm German - I'm making a TAS of this game right now. (It would be my first TAS) Are there any time-saving glitches excepting the pipe glitch? Could I use the bubble glitch anyhow? I'm in the second moon level (there are many stars inside) I've already finished the tree section.
