My name means Multi Ultra Giga God and I came up with that when I was about 12, and I was inspired by the god Eneru in the One Piece anime. I basicly thought of it as the perfect nickname and it fit as a tag for Smash Bros Melee (where a name could only contain 4 characters), a game that I played competitively after I came up with the name. In that game I was also inspired by Ganondorf since he was so almighty.

Here is a TAS I made for task 1, btw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqFGUJXK-O8 Since it's slower than 1st place by a split second, I didn't want to make it public but I want to link it here so it's not forgotten. I made a TAS for task 2 which I'll post here once the task is over. --- Task 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9EJB1-IOl8

"New version available"? Maybe you can check if this happens in the stand-alone VBA-rr (v24 svn480).

You may want to get 1.43 and 1.51 / 1.52 (either one) and test for differences in lag, and if certain glitches you want to do work the same way. (As said, 1.43 is not accepted anymore though.) Here are some notes from my personal experience: 1.43 v17 desyncs when doing tent glitch in Earthbound. Recording mode would behave differently from playback mode. Don't know about v18. 1.51 seems to have more lag in Kirby Super Star than the console, but I can't back up this statement. I'm only recalling an impression I had from years ago. That's the reason why the unfinished WIPs were started on 1.43. I never used 1.52.

timesaver for 20 shines and other categories https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfxHF2y-C5c EDIT: This might not actually save time because blue coins have to be skipped. The current 20 shines tas by zelpikukirby gets a blue bird coin and the jail coin. I'll leave it to other people to figure out what's the best thing to do (maybe get 1 blue in delfino, do that skip in the video, and get 1 elsewhere?) ----- Bianco windmill escape tas re-upload https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9iZlhlv7gw

There are a few glitch videos on youtube like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77M0IDGJf1s (Looks like this teleporting stuff only work through a cheat code.. anyway..) Maybe it's worth glitch hunting this game some.

<was0x> I didn't use 2 clips for reasons. For 1st clip, I have cutter (It's required in next stage) so re-inhale ability resulted clip was slower
<was0x> For 2nd clip, Soulriver's movement was bad :p + cutter animation is longer than spark iirc
I have forgot, that the requirement to clip is to be fat, which would make my 3rd suggestion invalid.

Dear Bisqwit, how far back do your IRC logs reach? If it reaches to 2008, would it be possible for you to provide the .txt file? For some reason, I thought about asking you before anyone else.

Lv3 done 1173 frames ahead, not taking into account the emulation difference (almost 20 seconds).

This game has a rejected run: http://tasvideos.org/1105S.html and a gameboy port with a published run: http://tasvideos.org/1440M.html I was just glitchhunting this for fun. I found that you could pause at the same frame a screen transition, or a timeout occurs (or both) and graphical glitches happen. On one occasion, I had a timeout even though there was 1:00 (1 minute) left on the timer. If I find more I will post here.

Get 'em All I just remembered this game from my childhood. I don't know if it would be a good TAS though.. Also, let me list other games again as a reminder. Again can't say if those would make good TASes but I'd like to see them: - Mystic Towers - Boston Bomb Club - The Summoning - Al-Qadim The Genie's Curse - Mice Maze - Star Trek: 25th Anniversary (I recommend watching this series about the different scenarios this game can take) Pacman games: - Pako 2 - Gobman Edit: Probably not worth tasing, but just saying I've been looking for this game and finally found it again. At least I think it's the game I was thinking of. https://archive.org/details/Diamond_1020

I glitch hunted for a bit but didn't find anything (apart from a ledge clip on some of the wooden structures at the beginning that doesn't work anywhere else, and pausing on the last frame before gameover which makes the fade effect a red color instead of black). I would be interested to play around with the OoB area, if someone can give me a savestate or vbm.

That was my first thought^. Just place the message at the top instead of the bottom.

I tried kicking my computer but it didn't seem to work. Are you sure this is supposed to tilt bizhawk? I have also found this place: But I can't seem to bind a key. When clicking on the greyed out text fields and pressing a key, it isn't recognized. Clicking on nearby buttons didn't help.

I noticed in the Youtube video of 0xwas' 100% run at 20:12, the Coo clip timesaver wasn't done, which would have saved about 52F. This one wasn't done either. Also, I was wondering if you can clip and get ejected by the wall to save time.. (level 6-5 room 3 or something)

Seriously? You loop over all the controls and print them out. At some point "tilt" gets printed. Now you wonder if bizhawk supports tilting? Of course it does. You print everthing it supports, and it started printing tilt. Stop looping over all the controls and just print the ones you want. Finally, i dont know why, but in the meantime you can use 0xFFFFFFFF. You know, like the example lua scripts provided with the emulator do.
I have tried a lot back when I wrote that and couldn't find any other way to make it work. And "hexcode" usage is from the script FatRatKnight provided in the 2nd post. Lastly, I was asking how to use tilting in bizhawk.

In a newer version of bizhawk, my script has started to malfunction. It is supposed to display the currently pressed gamepad buttons but now it displays Tilt Z and stuff like that. How can I turn that off? Relevant code:
t = ""
for key, value in pairs(joypad.get()) do
--  if value ~= false then    t = t .." ".. tostring(key) end
    if value ~= false then
         if tostring(key)=="Up" then t = t .." ^"
         elseif tostring(key)=="Down" then t = t .." v"
         elseif tostring(key)=="Left" then t = t .." <"
         elseif tostring(key)=="Right" then t = t .." >"
         elseif tostring(key)=="Select" then t = t .." s"
         elseif tostring(key)=="Start" then t = t .." S"
         else t = t .." ".. tostring(key) end
    end
end
gui.text(76,60,tostring(t), 0xff000000, 0xffffffff)
end
--- Does bizhawk support tilting? How? --- This code doesn't seem to work, why?
gui.drawText( 82, 7, "Hello world", "#ffffff")

I wasn't sure if to post this here or in bizhawk topic: Is the mgba core in bizhawk good to use? Or should I wait?

Earthworm Jim 2 (This was ported to SNES, Genesis and PS1 and I don't know which is the best port)
