I suggest that you try to include a clean ending instead of a garbled one. I got a clean ending only 2 frames slower.

Pardon pour utiliser l'anglais. Do you mean like this? This requires "AviUTL" but I don't know how to use it. http://i.imgur.com/SOtobLw.jpg

0x003E and 0x003F are RNG addresses. Thank you for improving the lua script feos. Can you explain to a lua noob like me what the second to last and last lines do?

Uh...what are you trying to say? I'd like to know what you think of it if you have something you wanted to say.
"eeeh" means "eeeh!? didn't see that one coming"

Try changing the FPS to 30 if it isn't.

I attempted it without ability and it worked in 2 minutes. I attempted with ability and it didn't work for 15 minutes. To clarify, the glitch always works without ability. But it seems to never work with ability. This kind of difference between having an ability and having none also plays a role in the Japanese version, where you can wallclip in level 8-3 at the thin slope by crouching repeatedly + walking up the slope, it doesn't work if you have an ability. And you cannot partially clip into a wall that transits to a slope by crouch-gliding into it, if you have an ability. Sorry if this all doesn't make much sense but I'm talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMm8FVAr48A 2:23 EDIT: Worth noting getting Wheel in Lv1 instead of Lv3 only saves 20 frames. (it's actually more like ~150 frames)

For some reason, slide boost at the beginning of a level doesn't work at all in my TAS attempt... Bad things so far, that I can't fix: - Bad RNG ~30 frames lost - Bad Roulette luck ~4 frames lost - No Slideboost in level 2 ~10 frames lost - No Slideboost in level 3 ~10 frames lost This could be a huge problem if I can't slideboost later on, like in level 8-Boss. EDIT: The Kirby Squeak Squad 100%TAS is discontinued until I know why this happens! http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1203983421/ksqsq100-4_25.dsm 0.9.8+, U ROM http://pastebin.com/5qc9qdu0 (position and speed changes between levels) EDIT: Works in 0.9.4+ taking the any%, mixing 2 sword bubbles to wheel and using that, then entering level 2. Either it doesn't work because of something I did in level 1 in 100%. Or it generally works less likely in 0.9.8... EDIT: Boost sliding does not work on 0.9.8+ when having Wheel acquired. It works on 0.9.7 and 0.9.4+ (with Wheel acquired). EDIT: I concluded that 0.9.8 is probably the correct emulation and 0.9.7 and before are flawed. That means my any% TAS uses an emulator glitch in pretty much every level's beginning. What is the ruling on this? Can I have my TAS removed?

I'm asking to remove the green preview of the HUD only. http://i.imgur.com/q2TnNSJ.png Can Desmume 0.9.8 use "while true do" in Lua?

Is it possible to disable the "green preview" of input display? It distracts me a lot.

scriptclip(last.trim(4331,0), """audiodub(last,last.timestretch(100+current_frame).killvideo)""")
Why does this not speed up the audio over time? Same problem with Resampleaudio (making the audio crappy over time)

Emulators could record input by default and save them often as one big timeline
I don't think that's a good idea because those files might get large. A better idea is that if the emulator is recording, it very visibly shows that (eg. with a blinking "recording" symbol.) That way if you are not recording, you will clearly see it.
Or use lua
if movie.active()~=true then gui.drawbox(29,29,140,39, "red") end
if movie.active()~=true then gui.text(35,31, "!! MOVIE NOT RECORDING !!") end

It seems that a display from a Lua script will get recorded in a video in VBA24m under certain circumstances. This wasn't the case with VBA21m with the same game and settings. I just now saw this on my video. In the first two seconds, there are 2 frames where you can see my Lua display.

When I write something like
clip
scriptclip(last, """subtitle("Hello world", font="Verdana",size=100)""")
then the font used isn't Verdana. Why? Nevermind, I must be blind.

He deleted it because it was only a testrun after all. I didn't get a response from him yet; I will look into this again sometime later.
