I couldn't get anywhere close to beating them all, but I found out that if you take the left exit at the start and follow the path there you can fight all the bosses in Bubbleman's arena.

I pretty much gave up after reaching some teleporter room, and after that a weird place with a shyguy shooting missiles at me. All three paths I tried seemed annoyingly painful, and I decided not to bother. I watched an LP of it though, and loved that Dracula bit.

I guess there's not many people like me who enjoyed the plot of ToS. Guess it's because I hadn't played any RPGs after FFX until getting it.

Hmm, that reminds me of my really old pet hypothesis that the cataclysm in the X series is actually the result of Megaman going crazy.

Is that Dr. Light hiding behind what I guess is supposed to be Crash Man? Could it be that he's the true villain? Ah, poor Dr. Wily, so misunderstood.

Hmm, there's quite a few I think, but those I can recall off-hand are mostly: Final book of THGttG, I believe. It might have been more than one book, but I clearly recall that the part which started the spiral into badness for me was when that woman disappeared in some freak warp accident or some-such while traveling. Final two books of The Dark Tower series. The 6th book is way too boring, and the "ending" at the 7th is the type I hate most. Dungeon Keeper 3 and its non-existence. That's quite a disappointment for me.

Also, I don't know about anyone else, but I find the music in that trailer to be quite hard on the ears.
I didn't find it to be hard on my ears, but it didn't really seem very original, or a good contender for beating the music from MM2 (not to mention 3 or 4, which IMO were better).

This looks cool, and I hear about this shortly after checking out a remake of MM7 using NES-style graphics/sounds.

Be sure you've uninstalled any third-party video-card drivers; after I installed SP3 on my desktop that had the Omega drivers installed, I had to disable agp440 just to get it to boot.
That's odd. I also use omega drivers, but didn't encounter this problem. On the other hand, a problem I do get is that when trying to run exe files I downloaded off the net or extract from zip files, I now need to get through these annoying 'this might be unsafe, continue anyway?' messages, which I can't for the life of me figure out how to disable. It's really annoying how every update they seem to see me as a younger, stupider kid.

Voting yes. I especially liked the part where you shot Arma with the air blade thingy before he even landed to taunt you and actually start the fight.

I think those "let's play" kind of videos are often misleading and inaccurate.
That's part of the charm.

From what I understood from watching a let's play of this game, you need to beat bosses 1-3 if you want to be able to beat the final boss. So the 1-1 to 4-4 warp might not be that useful..

Hmm, apparently it desynced for Bisqwit.... Which is weird, since I can only assume it didn't desync for at least 10 people.

On my first year in my game design course we had a class where we'd play all sorts of different games to see how they could be compared to video games. One was a LARP where we played archangels trying to bring about God's creation (though the different arch's didn't exactly agree on how exactly it should be), and I got to play Mehuyael, a really annoying, naive, flaky character who I really liked, so I decided to name myself so on the internet. But I already signed up to a number of forums with the nick Mechuyael before I figured that though technically it's more correct (as in Hebrew there's a Chet there), it looked better as just plain Mehuyael.

Ah, guess that explains it. I'll add another yes vote then.

How does finishing the turtle level before the mecha-Mario level end up faster than doing it the other way? Also, did anyone else notice that when the 'W' in the castle turns into the 'M', it looks really bad, as if it was supposed to be a 'W' from the start? I think it's evidence that the castle was actually originally Wario's, and Mario stole it from him.

It seems that Dick Dastardly loses even when you win the game, so they might have. Voting yes.

Oh, I was using 0.98.15. I didn't know a new version came out.

I tried to watch it, but I think I may have gotten a bad ROM... Everything glitched out when you jumped to the second floor and started moving left, and you died twice. I'll try to find a working ROM when you submit your more optimized run.

Not really shocking, since Peasant's Quest IS a mainly a parody of this game. Anyway, this gets a yes from me!
Indeed, that was pretty obvious.

A war-kind of game for... the Genesis? Or the SNES? Or the Jaguar? Sheez. You had a huge ass tank, a smaller tank, a helicopter and a jeep to use, the objective of the game was to blow shit up to reveal a flag which the jeep would pick up and then bring back to the base, and it was a mission complete.
Return Fire, I think. I actually remembered the game, though I didn't recall the name. I ended up googling it. The info sounds about right.

I tried to get bored, but the movie finished before I could. :( Guess I'll vote yes. By the way, I suppose it only makes sense, but all I could think about when watching the run was how it reminded me of Peasant's Quest.

Cool, was just watching an LP of this and was annoyed to find that the Ridley fight was missing, so yay. Can't wait to see a 100% item run though. Watched it, enjoyed it.

I actually have a demo run that I made to maybe get someone to make a TAS of Star Saver. The thread can be found here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5436 Unfortunately it seems that the rhino alien and dead fish bosses are too boring, but I can't find warps that'll skip them.
