Can't we just accept B runs on their own, as long as they come with a verification movie that does whatever it takes in A to make B optimal, and ignore the A run? In the end, it's just like any run that requires a verification movie.
I agree with you.
it seems that i was too strict with the verification movie : http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#MovieMustPlayTheGameFromTheBeginning
We do not allow save-anchored movies. We want a standard starting point for movies (power-on). Saves introduce an infinite amount of possible variation that may cause the game to behave differently compared to starting from power-on. They can also can be hacked, allowing nearly transparent cheating. However, there are certain games with unlockable modes, second quests, or other things of interest that can only be accessed if a save file (or an otherwise "dirty" SRAM) is present. If you really wish to submit a movie made on such a mode, you will need a verification movie made and provided alongside it. Any input file that starts from power-on (for example, a previously submitted movie for that game) and creates the exact circumstances for your submission to sync will generally do.
welll, i don't like the overbranching it might create (6 branches Vs 4 ) but if the generated save file from the Leon A submition make it sync then there is nothing more to say :/

haven't watched the runs yet but, since the A scenario influence the B one, it means that there is no way to have a "clean" save for B scenarios, ( if you play play the A scenario another way, the run won't sync, it's not just "new game from unlocked from a clear save", but more like a "new game + of the last scenario played" ) wouldn't it be more logical to combine both runs in one submition (adding a reset to load the save or even two files ? ) and simplify the categories as : Claire A / Leon B || Leon A / Claire B || Hunk ||Tofu this configuration would make the route comparaisons simpler and would prevent gray judging areas

i like this game, yes vote also, instead of grinding the money, isn't it faster to do the 400g game 2 or 3 more time and "smooth" the grinding by collecting "on the road" money bags ? (i saw you skip some bags, maybe it could have saved one grind trip ?
The game won't allow it, unfortunately. Once you win the 400 Gold prize four times, he basically calls you a con-artist and won't allow you to play any more:p Now that I have the full run done to look back on, I do think a better money grinding route would be able to save at least a trip at the two points where I have to stay put for a while and grind (Verla and King Nole's Palace). It was certainly a challenging part of the run to figure out, during the making of.
thanks for your answers, i'll be waiting for you next project :) ( if i had more time, i'd try alundra but just thinking of a possible routing give me a headache )

mugg, the key is to fix yourself a schedule and force yourself to stick to it i did go thru a phase like the one you are going thru, didn't know what to do, didn't have the will to find a goal. the first step i found was that a schedule help focusing on a solution and not on the symptoms, add some stupid and borring activities (i was going every sunday for a 3 hour walk, never taking the same route, taking pictures of everything i found strange ) same for the trash, set a trash day and put it out. once you set your schedule, gradually add things to do ( going to the pool, going to see a movie, add things you don't like do... ) also, it seems like nothing but learn to look and smile to peoples, and goof around, it WILL open conversations, i can't describe how just a hello and a smile from a random stranger can give you a LARGE moral boost...

There's a clever aspect of game design in the vertical room right before Dedede. Kirby squeezes through a gap that's just a few pixels too narrow for an animal friend to fit through too, so you're forced to go it alone.
also, the dark castle have a symetric theme... yes vote, it's been a while that i saw the classic GB green...

Very funny and entertaining. I liked the various announcer voices and the antics of the three characters. Never seen a PSX movie get an incorrect time calculation though, I wonder why that happened.

Here's a hint: First play 1. c8=Q Nxc8 , then take back those moves. Now what? Solution: 1. Qb7# ; the pawn on c7 moves and captures towards the left (towards the a-file) according to a glitch in Battle Chess.
took me some time to understand that without the encode... i'll still wait for it before voting yes, but nice find
