How do you plan to record the inputs? I doubt HoN has any form of acceptable input file format that can be saved to, much less one the site would accept.

Non-tool-assisted speedruns are not accepted on the site, and to my current knowledge, there's no way to make a tool-assisted speedrun for any large, modern PC games. So...no, you can't submit anything for that game to this site (yet).

Though that is just a label. The movies can be found among the official games for each console.
I know they used to be put in a separate "Concept Demos" section, but that has been removed at some point in time. I'm not exactly sure why.

...I don't think that would help you any. For one, the any% doesn't collect the red coins, so that would be kind of useless. Second of all, TASes of Bowser's Dark World zip through the stage with BLJs like crazy, so I doubt its effectiveness for anything like real time play.
Though if you insist on using a TAS for your guidance, this is your best bet (BDW from the 120 Stars TAS, collecting all red coins)

I TAS fighting games the same way I TAS other games. With frame advance, controller/stick/keyboard skill isn't so relevant. Inputs like Hadouken motions are easily done by doing something like [down - frame advance - down-right - frame advance - right - frame advance - punch button]. Charge motions are a bit trickier to keep track of, but still nothing major. The largest hurdle for a fighting game TAS is making it look good and entertaining.

Ideas or strategies can't be copyrighted, so don't worry about that. The only way of "copyright infringement" would be if you copied large parts of another input file and claimed it as your own, without permission from the original author.

Watched it. Pretty amazing stuff. I liked the creative methods in some levels to duplicate blocks onto a Dragon Coin...and all the other glitches, of course. It's hilarious to see all the ways the game engine is being toyed with.

Just to make sure people stop submitting Snes9x runs, how about making the .SMV file format unsupported for the site?
That would cause issues with runs currently in progress that are approved to use snes9x.
Not to mention, its deprecation status still isn't official yet. At least, not to the point where just the fact it's a SMV would automatically warrant rejection.

Yeah, I'm not sure about this one either. Sure, it fits with Vault criteria, but it's not remotely interesting to watch, nor is it a technical achievement.
