The switches in Dynablade open secret paths for ability rooms. You do need to unlock them for 100%, but you don't need to visit them. They're just single rooms filled with about half the abilities in the game for each one. In Milky Way Wishes, you can't get powers by inhaling enemies (save for the one shot use ones like Crash and Mike). Instead there are the Super Ability statues that you collect, that once you do collect them, you can switch to it at any time. In this case you'll probably want to pick Skyhigh as your first planet, since it has all of the movement beneficial powers in it (Jet, Wheel, Wing). Right after you'll probably also go the secret level just above Skyhigh for the copy ability, in the off chance that stealing a power comes in handy (though I doubt it.)

Too many choices. Spring Valley and Twin Seeds from NiGHTS. Final Rush in Sonic Adventure 2. Outer Wall of Cave Story. Rainbow Resort in Kirby's Adventure, especially the final retro stage. If I have to pick one over everything else though? Super Mario Bros 3. World 5. Stage 3.

I remember Sonic Advance 2 having some really high speeds for standard play once you hit boost mode, what's the px/f for that?

Maybe there could be some kind of advanced hacking done to make the un-auto-bosses hitpoints start at 0?

What percentage of people here do you think will actually understand what the ^H^H^H is supposed to be?

I like to play as Sakura in Pocket Fighter. The umbrella uppercut has nice horizontal range, and the flailing arms dash is wonderful for boosting attack levels early.

I think there might be a better chance of a GBA run being accepted now, since it doesn't have the newly discovered benefit of the UFO ability keeping glitch. So if you feel like continuing this, I won't complain. Hopefully you won't be stuck using Burning for most of it.

Seems like Veoh would work just as well, if not better. You don't have to install anything using that.

I think the important question is, which music did you play?

Let's restart the discussion. Take something like the high-res texture addons for n64 games. Could something similar to that be done with older consoles?

I just beat Mario 3 on my NES a few minutes ago. Without a Game Genie. Just thought you all might like to know.

Also, your default case wouldn't get you very far in SMB, since you need to go right, not left ;)

Since it's timed ingame, it doesn't matter what the emulator movie time is. Entering a name isn't a problem. It's "702,356 in 1 minute challenge", not "completion in 00:52.37".

Since enough people are interested, maybe I'll show this silly screenshot of the final boss. Mind you I was a bit rusty when I took the screen. http://nrg.gotdns.com/etc/mechayomiko.jpg (linked because it may or may not be considered huge)

Mine features Michelle and Maggie from the R.O.D TV anime series, characters that use paper as weaponry. In particular though, this is an idle animation sprite from some doujin software called ElePaperAction.
