Because this is not a well known game nor does it have well known physics, would you consider making soft subtitles that can be thrown on all youtube uploads and encodes without any further effort from you? Youtube supports any format listed here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2734698?hl=en So you can write it out once (for example against your own encode) and upload it here for anyone to use.

It IS an injoke, impossible, hidden difficulty. 'hardest difficulty' would be a run on Goddess of explosions difficulty. Reallyjoel's Mom difficulty is just that, Reallyjoel's Mom difficulty. It's not something you're meant to play, but laugh at for being a joke impossible difficulty. EDIT: I think if you want go this route, you should try something like "Reallyjoel's Mom (impossible) difficulty", which both has the name people will search for and indicates how hard it is (impossible).

XD When Hourglass supports mouse this is a good candidate for a TAS, it'll go by very fast so it won't be a huge ordeal to make and look absolutely baffling.

Put it in the title or bust. (The frame used for the video's thumbnail is poorly (automatically) chosen, too. It should show a storm of bullets and enemies!)

Why was 'Reallyjoel's Mom' removed from the branch title? If it was any other game I would be fine with this. But this is a specific, noteworthy 'meant to be impossible' difficulty that people will youtube search for by name, and by taking this out the TAS is basically invisible to people curious about 'Reallyjoel's mom' difficulty and how hard it is.

Whenever you find a memory address for x or y position on screen and it looks like it's measured in pixels, look 8 bytes in either direction and if the game has subpixels you usually have already found the address containing them.

The dead last player clearly had one goal in mind - to be the very last player on the list - with only 10 points. It appears others have tried to get the lowest score on the board, but many failed with 20 points. So far, only two people know the secret to getting a game over with only 10 points (something I can't figure out myself).

My thoughts for categories are: 'Higher entertainment rating than movie that obsoleted it' 'Shows off an interesting glitch, trick or route that got obsoleted out' 'Has an interesting entertainment/playaround that did not come back in the obsoletion' 'Has historical merit/is a historical milestone/is a first for tasvideos' re the problem of a movie belonging in two categories, you could have categories ordered by priority - if it satisfies two categories it goes in the higher priority category.

I don't think you can submit a TAS of Garry's Mod because it doesn't run in any TAS emulators yet. That shouldn't stop you from making it and having a blast making TASes, but, for example, a Doom TAS using the built-in demo recording and playback feature currently isn't allowed either.

So apparently this skip works in other chapters too, pretty much anywhere you can go from a loading zone to a card with frame perfect jumps. An all cards TAS that allows this glitch would save a lot of time over the RTA route. (Though the first TAS should still be any% for sure)

The main attraction of Dot Eater, Hard is that you time out the stage 5 phase 3 boss. The stage 5 phase 3 boss fires faster the longer you fight it without dying or killing it. And faster... And faster... And faster!!! Watch the linked video in the OP if you want to get a taste for how hard it gets ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mC_m0FKZ5nc#t=4m05s ). I've never seen anyone time it out without dying once. And yeah, the goal would be highest score 1p, highest score 2p or playaround 2p. You gain points for absorbing bullets.

That's ok, not every TAS has to have popular appeal. That's what we have vault for (Also, subtitles could be added to the video highlighting every difficult trick and what the window for hitting it is like in frames) For each song, you could use a bot that knows what the chart looks like and hits every note frame perfect/scrounges every tick out of every hold, and then manually edit in the star power route/squeezes/any other score glitches. That would make producing the whole TAS pretty quick.

Number 1: We can't actually skip the Twin Statue, it's still required for getting into the Dimensional Corridor, even with the skull and talisman, the ladder will NOT lead to the corridor unless the center labyrinth puzzle has been solved Number 2: HOWEVER, the Dragon Skull is 100% skippable in real time. It's tricky and even in single segment might require a save-load just to have health to viably do it and not get decimated. The method to accomplish this can be seen in the video below.

New skip found for "All Cards" category by almolicious. You touch the card and the card goes away, but if you open the pause menu and look at your stars you only have one still, BUT if you save and look at the save file you have two stars now! I don't know if there's an official ruling on whether this counts or not, but it requires seven frame perfect jumps in a row (it's a loading stone storage glitch like log skip) Saves a few minutes because you skip a Peach section. http://www.twitch.tv/almolicious/c/3661445
