are you sure that there is no place in the whole lower floor where you can BLJ in order to get through bowsers door? like the slopes in the room where you have to drain the water?
And how would 0 stars be possible? are you sure that you can enter 2nd bowser stage w/out entering DDD? I mean, maybe it just looks like the wall is moved behind the bowser stage, but maybe these are 2 totally diffrent maps. so even if you ARE able to glitch through the DDD water-wall you might even not be able to enter Bowsers stage....

The difference is the amount of stored speed. Using the elevator in BoB, i can do so many jumps (like 20) and each jumps adds to the stored speed. But with the stairs in front of JRB, i can only jump about 5, which doesn't give much speed. When i'm steering backwards, mario is losing speed due to friction with the ground, and the distance is enough to make mario go really slow before he can reach 1st bowser's door.
Once on the seam, go into first-person view and position the sword icon on the top of the screen to the right of the seam. To walk up the seam, hold down Z, and remember to keep lining yourself up every few steps so you don't slip.

No one has ever done a seamwalk in a TAS, so I suppose it's up to you to figure out what the limits are.

I think in a TAS you should AT LEAST backwalk the seam. I mean, you have all the tools to make it.

Already done almost all of LLL. I'm doing the elevator tour but i think i'm getting to the star faster by going up the lavafall again (like in the other volcano star i did before this).
Going by elevator is almost faster (30 frames slower so far). If only i could get this triple jump over the fire spitting block and up to the floating plataforms where the star is... but i'm a few inches away
edit: ok i got it 20 frames faster than going up the lavafall (but i still go up the lavafall on the other star + 100 coin)
