I have voted no for this reason. Be logical guys when you see the settings is the same than before resetting the game, it means that is a soft reset. I encounter this problem in MTPO when I started the timeattack and quickly find the solution to avoid that kind of incident.

One idea, you did well on the gator fights, but is it possible to manipulate them to attack more often? A yes vote from me anyway.
Yes and No. Yes because you can manipulate luck so the gators is always right in the face. No because if you mean the gators is already right in the face and try to make them appear faster.

I haven't seen this video and don't know that game very much, only the Snes version, but why shouldn't Arc's video be replaced by this one? What's irregular in that timeattack?

Why did you have bullets left in levels 7 and 8? Was there no way to avoid that?
In Stage 7, I was forced to finish with 1 bullet otherwise, I'm Game Over. I have tested every frames possible. Strangely, that's not the case in stage 2. In Stage 8, it appears to be the best grabbing 2 guns than just 1 for killing ennemies faster. I don't loose that much frames for excedent bullets.

Personally, I didn't find it impressive. It's linear and too simplistic.

Watching the ending sequence, it appears to be a dream.

Well, I never said it will be a Grant run. Anyway, I have decided to not do it at all. :P

People that want me to do Adventures of Bayou Billy, go vote for this submission. I am waiting 5 positivie vote to publish it. I don't want some "sadomaso" people to complain again, like that Combatribes incident.

Any further progress on this? Would be nice if people posted progress as much as possible when they are not running the emu. :)
Well just check my personal page http://tasvideos.org/Phil.html or Genisto's page http://tasvideos.org/Genisto.html for details.

The problem here is not that savestate thing but the fact that FCEU doesn't have an hard reset feature. It only has a soft reset. So movie file use that reset which is wrong evidently. Blip surely know that and decided to use savestate instead of implementing an hard reset for some reasons I ignore, but it's not his fault but official developer's one. Well blip could surely implement it since I have reported this bug a couple time ago http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1020. The only solution to couter this is, open a rom then pause the menu, close the rom and reopen it, it must stay paused evidently. Now you can start to record from reset without having this problem.

It seems in certain games, Final Fight Guy for example, changing the emu speed or using the skip 1 frame function makes the video to desync.

Hmm, the double playing is a nice idea, but there's a slight problem. When I press too many buttons at the same time it doen't register all of em. I tried to make a double-play Parodius run but it just doesn't work. Nasty stuff.
It's a keyboard limitation. Some combinations of buttons just can't work. Try and test different buttons.

I recommend you using FCEU with blip's patch instead of Famtasia.

Well then just don't watch this game if you don't like Beat them up games. It's true that this video is boring NOT BECAUSE IT'S A BEAT THEM UP GAMES but because he uses Guy and do always the same moves. There's some platform games that had been published and found them more boring than this so .... Like MM 3-6 which look the same as 1 and 2 to me. Btw I didn't watch them because I knew I will be displeased. So guys stop being "sadomaso" when you know you don't like this game. Anyway, Final Fight 3 is so easy that someone can do a 2 player timeattack controlled by one player. With this and diversifying moves, no errors, personally, I think it should be published.

We could use a savestate. I don't see what's wrong using a savestate then start Freedom map since I don't aim for fastest real time but in game time..

This game is very creepy. It describes New York as the "center of evil" in the world. The title screen prominently features the World Trade Center while the heroes are looking for "Ground Zero."
This is USA seen by people around the world because of that Irak incident and because people voted again for that Butcher. :P

From what I hear, map 61 has the most land area. Though there was a bug to change the topography of any map, I don't think these were taken into consideration.
So is map 61 better than Freedom scenario map? We must beat that WR. I don't want to do something that can't beat that.

Doing a 3 player controlled by one person will be very nice and higher a lot the chance to be accepted. Evidently, you need to be very patient but it worth it.

Well I have started one on Snes. Evidently, with Haggar. Maybe I should continue it someday but I prefer the 2 player one on Arcade.

Hehe.. Really nice. :D Someone make a try at it and post the resulting vid? See ya in a year or two then. Haha! Seems like it's very time consuming.
Don't laugh because I will do a run. I'm really serious. Let's begin, what map should I use. If it's a random map, which name should I use. I must know what should I do to beat the WR of 2Y11M. After reaching the 500 000 people, I want to reach the 600 000 since I have never seen it. When started, I'm gonna do it step by step and post the link of the movie file. So you'll gonna give me some advice. I'm waiting your answers.

Anyway, I am thinking of creating some rules to be sure people press F3 at the beginning of movies. Also, if a newer version is faster by less than 1 second, it will be refused. Evidently, I will inspect those movies to be sure people press F3. Well, until someone implement the "from Reset" feature.

Wow cool, I didn't know myself. It's sad that blip doesn't want to include it. He said to me that this FBA project was over for him when I ask him to implemant it. Maybe he thought it will not be that popular. Anyway, we must not change the subject ;) From now, it's Adv. of Bayou Billy the most popular. I'm gonna wait a little before starting it in case you prefer another game. I will continue Gradius 2 since you doesn't seem to hate it.
