I doubt it's really be 90 minutes. I was just kinda exaggerating the time there. I really don't think I'm going to end up doing this run. I want to do something that's going to get published and that's (hopefully) gonna stick around a while.
I dunno, I guess it's just a boring game to TAS. Have fun with it if you want Hyena. I plan on just doing Dudes With Attitude once the mapper on FCEU for it gets fixed.

I'm voting a yes on this. This movie is absolutely awesome.
It's a shame that now that it doesn't have a 100% vote, that it's not going to get published for six months. =/

Sounds good, just be sure to mix up the combos. It may also be about time, but entertainment is also a big factor too.
If you want an example of a good fighting game run, download either of the Super Street Fighter II runs here and give 'em a look-over.

Hmm, I just noticed, though it's probably obvious to you guys. =P
While re-playing the game, I got a pizza from the Skate Punk in Onett. Perhaps getting the pizza there instead of in Belch's lair in the movie could be a quicker alternative?
Just a small suggestion.

Well hot shit, this managed to actually be completed! I dig.
I look forward to the AVI, where I'll watch it then. Seriously, who's going to say "no" to this anyway?

Actually, I found this game to be hard as hell, so if you can make a TAS of it, man, do it. I can put up with the autoscrolling enough to see someone pwn this game. Even with Game Genie, I've never been able to pull it off.

OK. Here's the scoop. I don't know if this is the right thread for this, or if I should be making a different one, but I thought it should be put here anyway.
I was going to be doing a Dudes With Attitude/Trolls on Treasure Island speed run, but there's a couple of problems with the game and how it's emulated in FCEU. Yes, I know the two games are rather trivial ones compared to more popular games, but I still find them to be interesting enough, I guess. *Shrug*
Anyway, here's the problems.
1. The map screen is mostly blacked out, aside from small tiles where the game's levels show up. The same occurs in Trolls on Treasure Island, only everything but the tiles and the animated waterfall are visible. The rest is completely blacked out.
2. Any hints that scroll overhead on Dudes With Attitude are partially garbled with bits of map screen scrolling by, then when it gets to about 3/4ths of the way across the screen, it "reveals" itself to be words.
Those are the big aesthetic problems with the game.
There is also a major bug in the emulator with the games where, although this has no place in a speed run at all, any levels that you create are immediately wiped out as soon as you finish naming your level and giving it a time limit. The name redirects to "Custom Level 1", the time is set for 000, and any objects or anything that you placed are just gone. You either exit the level or die.
That's about it for me. Again, excuse if this is the wrong thread for such matters.

The boss of that level severely creeped me out when I first played through the game. That's just all....wow. o_o
But yeah, good work so far man. Keep it up!

She also gives you a lap dance if you plug in controller 2 and sit on it.
Anyway, how 'bout if we keep working on the game instead of arguing about stuff? Nothing's getting discovered by arguing. o_o;

I'd like to, but I don't have time to actually start TASing things due to the fact that my life (i.e. finding a job, saving money, college, etc.) come first. I wanted to throw out a suggestion and my findings, so if anyone wants to do a TAS of this, feel free.

I'm sure things like this can be manipulated, either by not having the enemy do it at all in the fight, or if it's unavoidable (Something like that tree thing when going to the Happy Happy Village comes to mind), just avoid the enemy completely and get a favorable one instead. That would be much faster than just killing him off.
Though Jeff being a meat shield would do nicely instead of killing him off. =P
