I'm pretty interested in TASing the game. It can be pretty speedy run. Here is a test run made by me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA-YwHZg0RU I'm considering which goal to choose, any% or 100% items. Since the run is very speedy, I think 100% run won't be a bored run. What do you think about that.

I saw the run on your channel, and it neat! Btw, how exactly did you find this glitch?
Yotchan found the glitch and explain it on Nicovideo. I don't know how he found it, though.

* In the first room with the dinosaur-like enemies, would it be faster to kill the last enemy instead of taking damage off him?
Nope. If I take damage, it will be one frame slower.

Do you think you'd make a full run of this game?
Yes, I'm considering doing that. The reset glitch might be also useful in some stages and save a lot of frames.

The completion time of Level 8 was 5m23s instead of 5m 24s as I saw after the movie ended. Any explanation?
The game told me how much time I had spent in each level, and the record was 5m 24s. Maybe the time was rounded off.

No battle against Whispy Woods? What kind of Kirby game IS this? :(
I think the enemy was too big to appear in the game.

It's a nice movie, but why aren't you using Snes9x 1.51 or 1.52?
Because the game speed was faster than Snesx 1.51.

Brain Age is a puzzle game designed on the premise of exercising your brain. In this run, for example, the idea is to solve a series of simple mathematical puzzles. And yet, the answers given... are not exactly what you'd expect. You can also go *here* to see a longer version of this run where the author improved upon the quality of the picture sacrificing time for art and entertainment.
I agree with pepness if the new run should be rejected, but I really hope the run will be published and obsolete the old one. I have tried to make a lot of TASes that abuse word recognition program, besides Brain Age run. I wasn't able to find any game that recognize a detailed drawing as a correct answer. If many people want a quick paced run, then you can make a TAS of any game that you can abuse word recognition program. But other than Brain Age, there is nothing that can recognize a detailed drawing as a word. (At least it is almost impossible to make a run like Brain Age TAS with other famous game.) IMO, quick paced run should be done in another game.

Looks like another monthly TAS ranking is up. I'm not sure if it's by yukihis (it wasn't uploaded by him as far as I can tell), but if it's not, it imitates the style very well: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm13441264
It's by Kagemitsu (カゲミツ).

1: Brain Age should aim for cheesy number recognition abuse with pictures because there are other games much better suited to being "artful." This run digresses slightly in the wrong direction from the old one on that spectrum in my opinion.
Right. But I think drawing pictures in an unsuitable game like Brain Age can make viewers funnier and more impressed than do it in a suitable game. People who watch Art Academy TAS would expect something will be drawn. On the other hand, first viewers of Brain Age TAS wouldn't expect that complex pictures can be drawn. And I have to say that non-assisted players can never imitate abusing number recognition progaram with complex drawings.

2: The pace of the new movie is a bit worse due to length in my opinion.
The main purpose of the run is aiming to be as entertaining as possible, and it doesn't aim to fastest time.

4: In general, if two runs were approximately equal in entertainment, perhaps the newer run should obsolete the older in order to provide the most entertaining material on the site.
If the run is accepted, I would like you to obsolete the old run. You know, the new run is more entertaining than the old one and it has some of same pictures I drew in the old one.

I would also recommend speeding up the initial entry, as the pictures in the main part of the run take longer now, or is it needed for luck-manipulation?
Yes. If I speed up the initial entry, I have to redo some problems whose answer is two-digit number.

Because Nintendo doesn't release it yet unlike Snivy. In other words, most of people who play Pokemon Black and White don't know that the Pokemon exists in the game.

Keldeo. It's a Pokemon who appears in Pokemon Black and White.

Although I uploaded the finished run to YouTube, the submission will be delayed. The movie has a picture that Nintendo doesn't release yet, so I have to replace it with other one. Sorry about that.

Art Alive!
Thanks! I got an idea from your suggestion. How about Art Academy? I think it is more famous than Art Alive. On my Brain Age TAS I uploaded to Nico Videos, I saw some comments, "Do it on Art Academy!" I'm still thinking about what title would be good for the movie. Any opinion?

The better run I'm working on is nearing completion. I'm trying to come up with a cool or funny title for the movie now, but I have no ideas for that. Could somebody help me?

Actually I'm not going to TAS the challenge mode of Kuru Kuru Kururin. I have considered TASing the mode some times after I had TASed Kuru Kuru Kururin and Kururin Paradise. I thought Kururin Paradise' one would be more entertaining than Kuru Kuru Kururin's because its stages were harder.

Yes! Drawing a character from Fire Emblem was terribly hard. I hope everyone who plays SSBM can recognize him as Roy. I'm considering drawing Marth but I have no idea how to do it.

Eventually I chose Ganondorf from Wind Waker and drew him successfully. He was recognized as 63, which is one of the most difficult numbers to recognize. It was pretty lucky.

Perhaps you could try drawing Marx's face, or a little less than the whole thing. Also, for a few more recommendations, you could draw try doing Ganon or one of the older Final Fantasy characters like Cecil/Terra (unless older FF games are being considered non-Nintendo games). I think a good picture of Ganon from LttP wouldn't be too hard to replicate, if it fits a number.
Drawing Marx is going pretty well and seems to be possible to draw the whole thing. I haven't decided which Ganon to draw yet. I think Ganondorf from Wind Waker would be recognizable, but he may be very hard to draw like Ho-oh. If I fail to draw that, I'll draw Ganon from LttP (or give up to do). EDIT: Done! Amazing art Ryuto! I only have one question though. Will it play back deterministically or will it suffer possible desyncs like the last one? ................ Well, I think I do have a request. Can you please draw my favourite kirby character, Marx Soul? It would be really nice if it could be included in the run.^^
The run won't play back deterministically because of desyncs caused by resetting. And yes, I'll draw Marx Soul for you and anyone who likes Kirby. It seems to be hard to draw, because of its width, but would be cool if can draw.

Hah, as long as you're doing requests and don't mind, how about a head or head+shoulders view of a zoid? Any of these will do, they're all well known, though the most recognizable would be the liger zero, shield liger and command wolf. http://www.kotobukiya.co.jp/kotobukiya/pk_zoids.shtml (When you're on the page for one, mouse over one of the boxes for a different pose, click on the box art to see it in high def.)
I'm afraid I draw only Nintendo stuff in the run. I'm considering drawing non-Nintendo characters in Brain Age 2 TAS that features the piano minigame, but I'm busy with the current project and don't seriously plan to TAS the game for now.
