To be more accurate, this is what I get when I try to dump the audio : Link to video I tried to change the audio API, enabling dual core and stuff, but the audio dumping always seems to act weird when a cutscene is played and when a match is happening. Note that dolphin actually sounds normal, it's just the result that sounds weird. I'm using a 8gb version of Smash to get all the cinematic, if that can help.

I just wish there was a 2p TAS of adventure mode (subspace emissary).
That... is a great idea. EDIT : So I tried the beginning : Link to video It's obviously improvable (and I think Kirby might be faster), but that sounds really fun. I think I will try to make a TAS of this ! Also, do we still need an A/V hack to encode audio ?

In this video, I start with the same savestate but act completely different : Initial : Time match (infinite) with only pokeballs on high 1- Choose Sonic and go FD against random cpu lvl 1 2- Choose G&W and go Battlefield against random cpu lvl 3 In both, the cpu is Ike, and in both, the pokemons who appear are : - Moltres - Latias - Goldeen - Entei - Togepi Pokemons might be manipulated using other item (making a sticker spawn instead a pokeball for instance), but that would waste some seconds :( And there are so many thing to manipulate too...

Welp, I guess that was known already but all the rng of this game is decided by a seed. The AI behavior, the pokemon coming out of the pokeball and everything else cannot be changed during a fight. The only thing you can influence is which item is going to spawn, but it's not that great. This is going to make an event TAS way harder, maybe I should try subspace first ?

If I may make a comment, I believe mine is slightly superior because it makes Billy look positively Bored at the whole encounter
Oh, I didn't mean that mine was better, it's just a screenshot I took while making the TAS, I do agree that Billy's look in your screenshot is amazing !

It is 60. But from controller frame count, not video frame count.

Ah, forgot about it, but yeah that's the one I was thinking too : Also, what framerate does TASvideos use for GC games ? This is (I think) something like 58.7fps... is that right ? I thought it would be closer to 60 ? EDIT : Also, it should be noted (will add that) that you need 25 emblems to complete 6-3, and that 6-3 is required to access to the Giant Palace (7-1), which is why I go there last.

Yeah I realised that using the frames details from smashboards, changed that in the route.

For the 1p event run, here's the "route" I was planning to use (I had to stop though because I was working on another TAS). http://pastebin.com/5PXi3Jdt So there are a lot of strat that still need to be studied, but more important is what to do for the all stars levels. I can go G&W and 9s everything, but I fell it would be kinda boring, especially at the end. What do you guys suggest ?

MW1 doesn't accept the GC controller, and it does have a sentitivity menu. http://puu.sh/8MVvM.jpg

Wouldn't aiming with the wiimote allow for more entertaining stuff ? (but to be fair, I did try to TAS Modern Warfare some time ago with the wiimote and... it's really hard to manage ><)

Quick question (that doesn't deserve a thread) : Is it safe to run Dolphin 4.0 AND Dolphin 3.5 at the same time ? (to compare stuff)
