This game is notoriously hard to play, even when set on the Easy difficulty. I don't think playing it on the hardest difficulty (Jedi) will make much of a difference except killing more enemies. It's a great TAS and I vote Yes.

So it's basically decided now that the 100% run will be improved unless a game breaking glitch is found to bypass note doors, levels, etc. Next up is to decide what really constitutes a "100%" run. There was some debate on IRC yesterday whether all note doors needed "opened," if all mumbo tokens needed to be collected (since it is a collectible that the game has a counter for after all), and more. Or should we just forget this part of the conversation and follow what Sami called 100%? Thoughts everyone?
I say do what SDA defines as 100%: all jiggies, notes and honeycombs. No mumbo tokens and opening all note doors. It seems to be a good definition for 100% because those are what the game tracks at the Game Totals screen.

The Beak Bomb is also something to investigate. It's used now to grab the Freezing Peak jiggie without pressing the Grunty Switch first. Maybe it can be used to enter locked doors?

All these movies are awesome, but I'm voting for Macrokarty's soccer run.

Every Megaman movie that has graphical glitches is worth publishing. Yes vote due to fast-paced awesomeness. =)

It's not as good as SDR's run because that run shows more glitches and 2-player fighting. I'm also wondering why you did some unnecessary missing attacks and taking damage. Yet it's still a good movie because of the insane combos. Voting Yes for a separate category.

Maybe you could use Superswim to trigger the endless event after doing FF1? With bombs early, lots of time can be saved at Dragon Roost Island by using the bombs instead of those slow flower bombs. Dragon Roost Cavern can also be entered early with bombs, although we still need a bottle to progress through this dungeon. The bottle from Bomb Island could be obtained instead.

I want to nominate [1624] SNES The 7th Saga by Kirkq & Nitrodon in 1:50:17.43 This movie is ~10 hours faster then the realtime speedrun due to it's extreme luck manipulation. An awesome movie. Also want to nominate [1637] GBC Pokémon: Trading Card Game by p4wn3r, FractalFusion in 21:40.67 and [1545] SNES Civilization, Sid Meier's by Acmlm in 05:07.78 because I used to play those games years ago and seeing how it got beaten so fast definitely impressed me.

After 2 years of lurking through the site, I decided to register to nominate some runs as well, assuming Lurkers are allowed to do so. I would like to nominate: [1438] SNES International Superstar Soccer Deluxe "playaround" by Marcokarty in 15:24.38 [1611] GBA Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance "Maxim mode" by klmz in 00:23.28 and [1656] Genesis Sonic 3 & Knuckles by nitsuja, upthorn & marzojr in 29:51.20 because i watched those movies way to many times because of their epic glitching. ^^
