If you say that I shoot last enemy in stage 1. I want to say that I didn't kill him. Because I shoot 1 bullet, and it didn't become 4 bullets...
If you say other place that I shoot someone, please tell me. Maybe I ignore them.
If you say that I shoot at some enemies, but they doesn't die, and this is not pacifist, I don't want to say more at all. Because for me, it is enough to pacifist goal. In contra pacifist record, I shoot enemy in stage 5, but it is enough to pacifist goal. And it has published at the end...
Finally, I want to say, I care about only speed and entertainment. If you reject it, the reason is I shoot enemies, although they don't die. I won't say more with laughing. Laugh at your ignorance...

I'm doing this run now. And I've improved 927 frames(~15.45 seconds) until stage 7. I'll finish it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
Also, I think 2P record can be improved. Due to 1 frame faster at main menu. And stage 1's boss fighting's bug.

Maybe there are some improvements in this run, though.
Some Boss Fighting didn't use big F at the begining...
And somewhere can be faster due to better randomness control.
So voted meh.

When I used 0.9.8 to do it and found that it gave me more lag frames, my mood was so bad... But you are right. I'll pay attention to it. I'll choose the most accurate emulator's version later.

Game only remembers which world Mario has completed. When Mario revisit a completed world, he can walk right through every stage in this world. So he can go through an uncompleted stage,too.
For the second question, sorry, I don't know. TASv2's author did that. I learn from him. Maybe andymac knows that. :P

A very good hack. It has SMB, SMB3, and SMW,even has Yoshi's island, NSMB(DS)'s things.

I suggest that we can use 4.4. Because there are lots of bugs in newer versions...
If we want to TAS other worlds, I think hardcore worlds are the best. There are 8 levels, and they're hard- they have a high entertainment.

Voted meh again.
This time is much better than previous. Action is cool. And more skills and faster.
But I'll also say that the game is bad. Not only entertainment, but also music. And slow actions...

It's a good run. Making bugs to save time.
But this game is not good. Music is bad. Action is slow. I can't have fun by playing it. Although watching a TAS.
By all means, it isn't a good game for TASing.
So voted meh.

I think this run is more entertaining than SMB TAS.
And it has its own value. Happy to watch it! So I'll vote YES.
By the way, when I saw this submission, I feel very close to it. Because I'm doing smb3's warpless run these days. And I've improved 31 frames from 1-1 to 5-2. I'll submit it this summer.

But genesis version has some other differences.
There are more enemies in every stage.
There is 1 more boss in stage 40.
Also, it is important, this version has 20 more stages. (51-70) Which two princess free snow bros.

Love it!
More new bugs! And the bug in #1 IGGY's castle is really good and exciting!
Also, inputs are really good. It seems that player use joypad to play the piano. And background sound in water stage is nice.

Love it very much! To be honest, I've been waiting for a sonic run for a very very long time. This one is pretty good, and exciting.
And I'm waiting for a sonic 3 & knuckles "sonic 100%" run now. >.>
