[20:06] <adelikat> adelikat tas of 2010 would be almost as large a pool of choices as some of the main categories <_< [20:06] <DarkKobold> The trophy would be a giant gold, flashing penis that says "E-PENIS" that occurs every time adelikat posts.

I nominate [1643] DOS Jazz Jackrabbit by Ilari in 04:43.79. Its a fast paced movie with tons of different weapon usage. Plus it isnt overly long.

So yeah, This is kinda dead. Ive wanted sort of a break from TASing so much, so im leaving this behind. Plus, the stupid reset bug in FCEUX is too annoying.

Crazy Gadget sub-1:00 by DennisBalow Link to video With the recent revisions, and the addition of frame advance, I think this is more believable.

Im going to have to vote no on this one mainly because I dont think that this is different enough from the any% to warrant a different publication. The 100% small only run was unique in the fact that it reaches a lot more exits as small mario than what is humanly possible. This looks like just a slower version of the any% run and uses almost all the tricks (the exception being the walljump). For that, I dont think it is really publishable. Its nice that the game can be completed as small mario, but we have another movie on the site that does so and manages to use much more crazy manuvers.

Think Crystalis but on the SNES, and you get this game! Its all in japanese though, so there might be some difficulty. Is there any interest? There's no way in hell im doing it since snes9x is turning into a mess of different builds. Heres what the game looks like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvYfbywIHBI (Note: This is translated)

Wow! Well, This was unexpected. After a few minutes, I see that this has much more effort put into it than the last. You even beat several TSC records! That alone is a feat. However I will still vote no because some acts can still be improved. Turning around in this game is not a good idea so its better to bump onto wals. This alone sould probably save a few seconds.

Congratulations Dooty! You just finished the SNES TAS of 2010. How do you feel? On a serious note really great job! I was expecting this to come and now its finally finished. :)

I would have used it to jump into the center after I killed Bright Man
Is using balloon to go to the center faster than using rush coil? If so, is the difference worth saving the balloon for?
I dont think performing the glitch would be any faster at all with these conditions. It takes about 77~80 frames to switch weapons. And that time would increase if you use rush coil due to the animation. Is this segment spliceable? I think its good enough to be in the final run. :)

Mister Epic, I noticed some strange blue objects at certain points in your encode (mp4 and 512kb mp4). Comparison to the Forte run.
That happens in the game itself because sparky messes up the graphics using the Tengu Blade.

Scaringly amazing work GlitchMan! Keep it up! You seem to have one left over ballon left though. Why not use it?

There doesnt seem to be a topic on this game, so I made one. ;) Arcus Oddysey is a Genesis game by Wolf Team, the same guys who made El Viento. There are 4 classes. The Soldier, The cainweilder, the Archer, and the Wizard. Each class has their own weapon, but theyre generally the same. I am aware of the cancelled run so im not the first person to bring this up.

Warps work by visiting selected doors. There is one in 1-3 that can only be accesed by an "invincibility" power up of sorts. I'll have to redo 1-1 to get him now so stay tuned. Thanks for all the addresses and the extended WIP.

As my last TAS or this year, I decided that I might want to take a stab at this. Its pretty simple, short & fast. My other projects are either too big to finish this year, or they're with a co-author since its a team run. TASt This beats Randil's fm2. by 2 frames. Its only 9 seconds so dont expect much. I might not submit this though because I dont want to discourage wicked. :( Thoughts? EDIT:1-1 Done. 27 frames faster than Randil's TAS.

MY EYES!! THEY ARE RAPED!!! Does this mean that the 100 CD run will be redone with these new tricks?
AFAIK, The 100 CD run is improvable by at least 3 minutes. parrot14green had a discontinued WIP that ended at the star of the Ground Man battle which was 1 minute ahead not counting the intro stage redone earlier.
