Keep in mind that there are published runs that already break site rules to begin with. For instance Mega Man 2 & 3 use the Japanese version only for the faster title screen. Besides, No movie can ever be perfect. If it looks terrible, then they would try to improve it themselves. Sometimes you would have to steer them into the forums but it shows that they at least care for the reputation of this site.

I kinda find it strange that a possible 5 minute improvement may be rejected and yet you let a 1 frame difference in Mega Man 2 slide. I dunno. I just find it strange. :\ That being aside, That run has some REALLY weird routes. There are some routes that we didnt even know about in this run. It seems to be faster at the Temple of Time but slower when he enters Hyrule Field. So there is still room for improvement for sure!

You sure about that? Because I had the lazer, and the boss had about 40 less HP than with the multishot.

I like how the ending screen has been randomly cropped into the game. It was pretty good if not a little drab. The last level is definitely the best. I guess that makes it a yes vote. Good job Nisto. :)

Good work! Although some quick suggestions for when making the final version:
  • At the Fist boss, You can use bombs which kill it faster.
  • The weapons actually change the boss HP! So For Smasher, Get the Lazer powerup!
  • The flying bot has a different HP Address depending on what weapon you have. Either that or this RAM is null. :/
I hope I have helped so far! :)

If the bomb does less damage than the normal weapons, then dying at the first boss is probably a good idea. It also seems faster to die there since bombs kill the eyes faster. The movie looks real nice now! Im only wondering though if you found any HP addresses. I could probably give you more feedback through that. :\ Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback Ferret. New Wip I saved 7 frames on 1-1. So I'm 79 frames ahead now. Edit: I'm done with 1-2 now. 88 frames saved so far!

I did some tests and level 1 sadly cant be improved using that. Nice try though. ;) As said by Randil & Bisqwit, This game would be a pain in the ass to optimize. This can be said due to some weird physics as well as the inconsistent timer(Which starts at 9910 rather than 9990, btw). I hope an improvement comes soon as this is THE last Famtasia movie standing. EDIT: Wait! I did this method and it turns out that...Its actually 1 frame faster!

3500 & 5800 Sound like good places to roll. Also if you have some gauge left over still, then try near 6600

That is a good idea to use a death. The only thing that worries me is that the 1ups are kinda sparse in the game. So make sure you use death properly. ;) Also, These RAM Adresses might be usefull:
00FFBF23 - Ball Gauge (1byte, signed)
00FFBD0D - Bombs (1byte, signed)
By Ball Gauge, I mean the white bar at the top right which displays how much you have of the Ball move left.

Nice work! But around frames 3700-3900, You can jump down the small hole & save a few frames.

Instead of telling you my opinion about this movie in words, I decided to show the following picture: This is the look of Yes.

Hello all! I remember when I did this. I watched my first ever attempt and wanted to vomit at how bad it was. I really must have grown now! XD Anyways, I was wondering about the improvements in Ferret's TAS. So I decided to do a little segment. A little segment The Prolouge is 74 frames faster. I lose 2 frames at the sword cutscene for unknown reasons. :S What do ya think?

I have to admit. I was confused when I saw the words "cpadolf" & "Genesis" next to each other. That was an ok watch. Nothing too exciting. :)

Its good that this game has some interest. I think it would be somewhat faster if I grab the grenades in the first part to kill the 7 chameleons faster.

You realize a 100% TAS would take about 5~6 Hours, right?

That was epic. More epic than Kriole's All-Souls run imo. Yes vote.
