If you were looking for suggestions anyway, this submission reminded me of one. How about you try the sequel, Batman: Return of the Joker, but for Game Boy? There's quite a few differences with the NES version: stage select (though you'll probably just want the standard order), a grappling hook, limited batarang ammo obtained from powerups, and such. I think the game also had a tendency to lag, making for a more nontrivial run. I remember it being a tough game when I was a kid.
I actually did do an attempt at Return of The Joker. I stopped because I didn't think it would be interesting. Maybe I'll pick it up again. Thanks for your thoughts.

The Nightclub level is probably the best level in any videogame ever. Try finding the masochist penguin on it. Or check the text it says in the background, right as you start the level (FRESH GIRL!! GOOD SELECTION!!). And the music is El Bimbo. Seriously, nothing can top that stage.
Except the ending! Wouldn't you like to die from an ass!

Tricking the AI into committing suicide was funny, but it shouldn't be for the whole movie. I vote No.

Wait! If I remember correctly, Isn't jumping constantly faster than walking? And how come you are using the European version? I'm just curious since I haven't followed this forum much.

GlitchMan? BTW, Will you use the secret hi-jump in the game, Or would that be considered cheating?

Does anybody object on Operation C for the GB? It's nice & short with a hideous glitch within. I also got Rocky Rodent up as a candidate. I would like to see this. Note, see not participate. I am back into highschool so I wont have time. Plus, I am very inexperienced. This would be fun to see though.

Does anyone notice that Richard, Alucard, Dracula, & Shaft have the exact same voice? Its kinda scary. Oh, and Yes vote. Some parts looked like they could have been faster, but a Yes vote none the less.

On stage 1-1 I invented the "stop to save time", as do the stage in less than 20 seconds generates a count endless score.
Wait a minute! All it does is give you 300000 points. Sure its a long tome but people would probably care less about the score rather than the speed.

I approve of this submission!!(Yes vote for the laymen. :P ) It is fast paced and the new glitch seems to be of good use. Damn you Cpadolf! I was going to do this since noone else would, but you got to it first. Near 1:32 on Youtube, instead of bouncing of the rat, couldn't you just jump around the mine?

Well you see... Back before my 6 year old computer died (sort of), I owned an XP, and opened up Snes9x. It was running smoothly. After the death of my computer, I now do my work on a Laptop with Vista. I download Snes9x v1.43 improvement15.3, and attempt to run it. It runs for a few seconds then freezes. It turns out it was using ALOT of excess RAM. Is there a solution to this? Do I have a bad version, or is there a setting configuration I need to run it?

I would like to see how they made those times at the Unofficial Sonic Center but there is no video that I can see.

Sorry for the double post, but I finished 1-3 Part 1, and I am now 107 frames ahead of your WIP. On the way, I found some rather odd physics.
  • If you land, it stops all forward momentum. But if you jump on the first standing frame, your speed is kept.
  • Sometimes if you jump, you move slow. Doing a headbutt will increase your speed.
  • The flowers can be side bonked multiple times before disintegrating.
  • Beware, there is lag that ISNT picked up by the lag frame counter.
EDIT: I JUST finished Stage 1. Just to let you know, I HATE PIXEL POSITIONING! It is the most annoying thine I had to do while TASing. According to the emulator, I am exactly 7 seconds faster than Jerfo's WIP. I would like it if you continued your run Jerfo so that I could use it as a reference. I wouldnt want to crush your dream. Here is my WIP: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TB4SGOZS It gets to the point where I am having trouble.

Nice jerfo! Although there are some spots that might be improved, it is still great work overall. EDIT: I started a run now and I am 88 frames faster.
