Give this run a star. This run is probably the best that we have for the MSX section as of now (Usas is tied here). Voting Yes, Really nice job from the two of you.

Well? Given that this supports the gamecube controller, I think that this could be TASable. The only qustion is...who would be manly enough to TAS it?

Awesome work so far pirohiko, just one question, the stop in the middle of Crash Dash (Level 5), where you stop, crawl in a circle, bodyslam and then go to the BONUS, what is the reason for that stop?
He waits for the nitro boxes to be destroyed by that boulder since there is no green "!" box in that level. It looks like the TAS is currently 8 minutes faster than the SDA run. Keep it up!

Interestingly, I remember reading up this news article awhile ago about somebody being cured of their cancer by having stem cells. If there is a possibillity that they could find a link between the stem cells & cancer then there may actually be a cure for cancer in the near future.

Heres my first attempt at the elevator. It cuts 1 full set of jumps from the published movie: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/661066431/TAZ-JUNE19.gmv

If I remember, my segment at the first rubber elevator was improvable. Everything after that was good. I'll try to improve that rubber elevator & see what I get. EDIT: Now 1 frame faster. (Was 3 frames but lost 2 due to bad platform positioning.

PSX Metal Slug - Theres a TAS of the arcade version already, so this can be taken out. Genesis: Contra: Hard Corps - You can take this off sice there are already TASes of the game. Incredible Hulk - Theres already a SNES TAS, so this can be taken out. SNES Chuck Rock - Theres already a Genesis TAS, so this can be taken out. Mickey Mania - Theres already a Genesis TAS, so this can be taken out. The Lion King - Theres already a Genesis TAS, so this can be taken out. SMS Sonic The Hedgehog - Theres already a GG TAS, so this can be taken out. GBA Donkey Kong Country - Diddy's Kong Quest - Probably bad version choice. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga - Most emulation glitches have been fixed so the game is TASable. Phantasy Star - Theres already a SMS TAS, so this can be taken out.

All jokes aside, This run was really boring. Sorry Aglar, but running from left to right without doing anything interesting inbetween makes my vote No.

It wouldnt save time since that would force me to get the "compass". Plus, its not possible to avoid the boxes without losing time since i'd have to manipulate enemies. Also, Would playing this at 50 fps be more accurate? It did reduce the slowdown but im afraid that it might not be as acccurate.

Im suprised that this hasnt picked up much interest. I find the process of resetting on half a window of game input to be very interesting. This might change a lot of things not only for Chrono Trigger, but for all TASes in general. Is there any way that this could be further investigated & utilized for future runs?

I applaud to the both of you for stirring up an interesting debate like true gentlemen. However, dont you guys think youre being a little too serious over a joke submission. The only reason Aqfaq submitted this was to cause a little laughs. Then thisentire debate about the philosophy for the site breaks out. Honestly.

Hey Randil! Any chance you could do your magic to this one too?
