I'm sorry if I offended you =/ I just thought that it might have sped up the process for the many people downloading. That's why I only meant it as a suggestion and didn't go "OMFG USE THIS NOW". Like I said, I've seen it happen before and thought it might prevent any future occurrences as well. I didn't mean anything against anyone.

I don't exactly know if this is possible, but I've noticed with a few movies lately that the only/original seed distributes the file to so many people at a time that the file takes forever for everyone to download. There's a feature on Azureus called Super Seeding (I don't know if it's on any other client) which caters to just such a situation. It instead focuses on one peer at a time in the beginning so as to increase the number of seeds. This would increase the availability and circumvent the problem where the seed is trickling information to 100+ leechers, which is currently happening with the Sonic Advance 3 movie (although I have seen it before; I just can't remember specifically what other movies this happened to).

I loved this game online, I loved it on the gamecube, and I love it on the GBA. Currently I don't have time to do anything fun, let alone a TAS, but I'm hoping to do a run of this when I get the chance. Preemptively:
Who the hell are you?
I was referred here quite some time ago, but I've done little but watch runs and lurk on the boards every now and again. I've always thought it would be cool to do a TAS, but every game until this one has seemed like it would be more work than fun. Kaitou, if you're still planning on giving up on this project, I'll gladly take up the reins.

Maybe it's just me, but the AVI torrent won't load into Azureus. It seems like it's a problem with Azureus, but I thought I'd check first to see if anyone else was experiencing this problem.

However, I don't know if "uses death as a shortcut" is proper, since my party is never completely defeated. Letting my characters die saves time, but doesn't move me anywhere, so it's not a shortcut.

Doesn't stop it from being an awesome movie, though.

I love how the one guy said that the Chinese World had ninjas, even though ninjas are Japanese.

Are you sure it's not 53 from the apex of his jump to the ground? Because two52 could mean from the time he starts his jump to the time he lands.

Absolutely crazy. You pioneered a new way to do timeattacks/speedruns/whatever they're supposed to be called, and you did it in a very timely fashion. The margin of time between your run and those of the individual games is defenitely acceptable considering what a stunt this is. Something really cool, though, would be two fairly different games played at the same time. (As in not from the same series like in this instance) Still, this movie is probably the best yet on the site.

Now they all work in Media Player Classic. Thank you. That link should be on the FAQ page...

I've downloaded each of the AVI files via bittorrent for the publications released on the 1st and the 4th and none of them will play for me. I haven't modified them and have tried playing them on both the mplayer and the Media Player linked in the FAQ. Is there a codec I'm missing or something? One error that occurs reads as follows in the mplayer log:
[h264 @ 009E3CB8]picture size invalid 4294966864x2048)
Error while decoding frame!
This error occurs while trying to play the Out to Lunch, Street Fighter 2010, and Gauntlet videos. Another reads:
[h264 @ 009E3CB8]illegal short term buffer state detected
This error occurs when trying to play the Mystic Defender video. The error that occurs while trying to play the Dragon Ball video reads:
[h264 @ 009E3CB8]illegal short term buffer state detected
[h264 @ 009E3CB8]concealing 252 DC, 252 AC, 252 MV errors

MPlayer interrupted by signal 11 in module: decode_video
The first two errors repeat frequently (many times every second) while the third error occurs once and then MPlayer shuts off. I've played every other AVI file I downloaded off of this site with no problem and I'm just wondering is there was some new codec used or something similar that I'm missing?
