This run is not optimal. I tried to make a TAS of the first level, mine is 50 frames faster than yours, and in some areas you don't use fastest strats, such as Gargamel fight, where you don't need to jump on the enemy to hit Garagmel, a precise jump and correct timing to throw the present are enough
Can we just get some proof on this please: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/my#uploadfile

Bye: User movie #25661791897998014 Probably improvable, I don't know, I don't care. Edit: I should point something out in the original file. It says "pocketmonsterv2-Spiked.bkm.bk2" this was from a userfile from the other TAS. I don't know why the Spiked version of 1.6.1 was used considering the fact that Kura planned to restart and got around doing it in the past month. But it seems to be a clean up of all the mistakes with the original input using 1.11.1 and it is basically not "Spiked" as the input was killed way earlier at the final fight.

About damn time! This TAS was very boring. Yes vote. If you don't get it you should hit yourself. Simple explanation, I'm entertained.

Why aren't you using mGBA? It's a much easier emulator to do link play. As all you have to do is: File > New Multiplayer Window

Oh by the way, you can kill your input after knocking out the fans/speakers(?) at the final boss section, and it will basically do all the work for you (if you switch to the dog). Not providing that, 'cause I hate that type of input, and it's a looooooooooong wait for you to win.

Holy mother of blank input: User movie #25539183251594721 I'll look into the ending input properly later. Edit: Now to act more like Ocarina of Time User movie #25590631440967474 This one corrects itself to the end of the final dialogue, I found out that the dialogue is automatic when you reach the ending, so this is gonna be fun! Edit2: More appropriate ending input. User movie #25591723101313611 Also, now that I look at your final fight input, I actually hate the input of this TAS. I will still say it's acceptable but this too can be obsoleted.

I had to grab Mesh's one just to see if he used Game B, he does not. First one, Game Loop: The only two TASes that actually go through all the loops is the two Mario Bros. Tases all other Mario/DK and heck Galaga arcade ports only do the first loop, so I don't have much to comment on there. Single loop would be fine, but for all loops I'd wait for the arcade version just in-case they have any specific traits to them. Secondly difficulty: All the other Donkey Kong TASes, except Mesh's (which is this one) is done on Game B, why is this still not on Game B? I don't know, preferably don't want to know. DK does have to take more hits in the two different Game Modes. Personally, I think using Game A is just scraping fine. I didn't find this entertaining like the last one, so I'll be voting Meh.

things like X/Z/Y position, X/Y/Z speed are hard to find because, for example, if i exit a loading zone and walk forward, how do i know if i'm increasing or decreasing in X/Y? assuming i'm walking on flat terrain (keeping Z the same) i could be changing my X and the Y, just the X or just the Y. i don't think that banjo's facing direction has to do with the direction of movement, because it's possible to, say, jump, and face forward, but move to the right or left. since that type of "trajectory manipulation" is possible, i don't think his speed is dependent on facing angle (although facing angle would be a good value to have i suppose).
Start with staying in the same zone, get to a level/zone with a tall mountain. Height: Set your value to be Greater than 0 then search. Go up said mountain and check not equal to previous value, stay in same spot and make it equal to same value. just continue that progress to find the height positioning. Position: Bit more difficult. Once more find a flat level/zone or stay in the same one, your choice, greater than zero. then move to another position, not equal to then stay still make it equal to, the issue with 3D games is that it takes a bit longer to find the positioning on ground so take your time finding them. It's just something that will take time, trial and error. Height's easy to do but positioning is not. Best of luck.

Metroid does in fact have a difficulty setting in the Prime series but do you use it? Yes, the easiest difficulty due to no difference between the game but boss health increases. Second one on the easiest difficulty trial is from Spyro: The Eternal Night it's chosen as the enemies would take more and dish out more damage on Normal or Dark Spyro (Hard) difficulty. Yet again, just health increases, get damaged for a bit more and boom, hard difficulty. Crash Bandicoot's Titans Series has difficulty settings do you it? Yes, the hardest difficulty is used besides the increase of boss health, it will not matter as the game speed itself increases as you move faster compared to normal or easy difficulty. Why is it so hard to understand the fact that difficulty is chosen for an advantage over a game if there is no difference except the amount of hits you deal or get?

Should also remind everyone of this. So I'm actually going to speculate, that it's not Nintendo of America but once more Nintendo of Japan being the bastards.

The issue so far is that Nintendo has currently targeted people who are not partnered on YouTube, except. There was a TAS that went down on YouTube (Brought up on 14th July) on SwordlessLink's YouTube due to a copyright with Nintendo. There was the alternate over at WebNations (apparently) and the video was still alive and kicking. Both WebNations and SwordlessLink are known to be partnered on YouTube, whether either account had motorization we don't know. (Okay, that's a lie, WebNations monetizes their content. We don't know if SL had that monetized) When was the video actually taken down? "Who knows? I don't. Do you? I don't. Do you? I don't. D- WELCOME TO" STUPID CRAP WITH NINTENDO!

Nothing stopping you from using Pura/Polar: http://tasvideos.org/Movies-C3025Y.html Also about PAL vs NTSC if you can explain enough to why, then it should be fine. For Example: Crash 2 must be PAL version unless you're doing the "box glitch" where you use NTSC. The part I'm concerned about it hardlocking the game after you finish.

It was used for 3 different runs: [2791] DS Super Mario 64 DS by ALAKTORN & mkdasher in 08:58.41 [2824] DS Over the Hedge by jlun2 in 17:45.64 [2828] DS Over the Hedge "100%" by jlun2 in 22:09.47 I don't even know why it was done, heck even go under the radar when it couldn't even do screen elements or even transitions correctly.
